You wait for another yankee collapse, something they been doing this whole decade.
I wouldn't exactly say that Red Sox fans took it like men...more like a bunch of whiney jealous bitches. ![]()

Any thoughts/analysis about game 6, Sparky?
I know the Angels hit Pettitte well. However...although he gave up that homer to Vlad...he almost NEVER gives up homers. He had a string of 10 games without giving up a homer at one point this season. And he knows he blew Game 3 and probably wants to be on the mound to close out the ALCS and bring the Yankees back to the World Series more than anybody else. And Saunders apparently has a great time pitching on 16+ days rest or some shit like that. Well this isn't 16 days rest and if he thinks he can come into Yankee Stadium and pitch another gem, he has another thing coming. Matsui and Tex didn't have bad Game 5s. Maybe their big clutch hits in the 7th inning give them confidence to have big games. Who knows? If Girardi is smart, he'll sit Swisher and make the lineup even better. But he's not smart so don't expect that. Basically...I don't think there will be a blowout moment in this game. No more than a 2 run lead at any point in this game, but I see the Yankees staying unbeaten at home this postseason.

I've learned a valuable lesson so far with postseason baseball in New York.
Game 1(ALDS): 45 mph...about 5 mph.
Game 2(ALDS): Rain throughout the game...rain after midnight.
Game 1(ALCS): Rain all night long...no rain at any point in the game.
Game 2(ALCS): Rain all night long, game will probably be postponed...hard rain in the 12th inning and gone by the end of the game.
Screw the "weather reports".

Right now I'm watching "To Live and Die in LA" in HD on Comcast On Demand for free. My 1 1/2 year old son is watching it with me. He loves the Wang Chung soundtrack. I subtley turn his head during the violence.
that is all

Thanks for your thoughts, Sparky. I agree about Swisher. Because I had Angels moneyline I couldn't have been happier to see him at bat in the 9th last night.
