#1 Posted: 7/31/2012 9:34:36 PM James Shields heads to Oakland to face the A's for the first time this season. He's had success against them in prior years and expect him to wheel tonight. The rays are a scrappy bunch who gave Tommy Milone lots of trouble last time they saw him (5 innings 5 ER).
Yes, Milone has been phenomenal at home this season having 0.93 ERA, but that should jump after tonight.
There's way too much love for Oakland tonight with 88% on them.
I'll go with the live dog here
TAMPA BAY +108 ($300-$324) |

#3 Posted: 7/31/2012 9:43:18 PM not sure how you can say shields is getting undervalued unless you re just going off his name. hes given up +4 runs in 5 of his last 6 starts and has a +4 era on the year. if you take the name off the jersey thats just another average pitcher no? |

Appreacite the love
I think he's gettin over valued tonight, last time he faced ARI he went 5 innings giving up 5 ER. I don't think Miley will keep his hot streak going either. See this game being very high scoring tonight, but if I had a gun to my head, I'd roll with Dback + $$ |

I personally think Shields is the better pitcher, and now that he knows hell be pitching for TB the rest of the year, that should clear his head and he should be able to pitch dominantly tonight (Kind of like what Lee did tonight)
Good luck with your plays |

#8 Posted: 7/31/2012 9:55:09 PM u are a brave man stepping in front of the A's train... a lesson i learned a few series back. rays arent actually crushing the ball either and especially with milone on the bump with his home stats is just asking for a migrane if backing the opposing team. the way i see it, it doesnt matter whose the opposing pitcher is for the A's, they will find ways to win. which doesnt bold well for my halos. |

According to my research, the consensus is WAY on Oakland then TB. It might not be exactly 88% right now, but it's not lower then 85% that's for sure.
Good luck with your plays |

Yeah I know Milone is a beast @ home, think the scrappy Rays will get a few b2b hits off him tonight. |
