Mizzou is tough but without Franklin I don't think they have enough to beat the Gators, but maybe they cover ?

Florida will steamroll Mizzou without Franklin.  I think they would have won by a TD with JT at QB, they should win by 2+ TDs this week, even with their weak offense.  Mizzou defense is giving up over 400 yards per game against a soft schedule and an injured UGA offense.  Replacement QB will struggle against a stout Florida D.  Load up on this one.  Five unit play for me.

florida-3 , without franklin missouri will have a very hard time scoring the ball, while the gators run game will have it much easier than they did this past saturday vs lsu,  GATORS pound out a 10 to 14 point win in a low scoring affair. large play

I will just sit back and watch all these Mizzou haters drive this spread up all week.  The Mizzou ML is the play for me.  Home field advantage will be huge in this game, think back to when Mizzou knocked off #1 Oklahoma a few years back.  The defense for the tigers is much better than people give them credit for because they seem to always create the huge turnover.  39 straight games with a turnover leads the country, it will continue on Saturday!

Any idea who Mizzu's QB is? Sometimes teams have a capable back up. We don't know how much this injury is going to hurt Mizzu until we see who the back up is. What we do know is that Florida hasn't shown any offense all year. Both teams played a good Toledo team. Florida won 24-6, and Mizzu won by 15.  The idea that Missouri has no defense is wrong too.  They clobbered Indiana who has a decent offense. Missouri's defense may well hold its own against a Florida team that has struggled to muster an attack.

MIZZ is a different squad w/out Franklin IF he's out

Also Gators kept it close vs a healthy LSU  team last week

Lean FLA

FLA wins this by 2 scores without franklin. They don't allow any team points anyway, but this one is a 23-10 score with franklin out

Little Giant...I really like some of your other posts, but please don't bet this game.

Ive been watching franklin for 3 years now.   Back up MAUK has taken 12 live snaps TOTAL.   No Bueno

You think Mizzou will score 34 points on this Florida defense?  With a backup that last had meaningful snaps in high school?  Sorry, you may be right that Mizzou could possibly pull an upset at home and win the game, that kind of stuff happens every Saturday.  And I am no fan of Florida's offense either.  But points will come hard for Mizzou unless Florida gives them the points with silly turnovers.  Mizzou's defense on the other hand is pretty weak, except for their defensive ends, as proven in every game this season.  Sams is an AA at DE, imo. They give up over 400 yards per game on average.

I like Florida to win but think the under may the better bet, I will probably bet both.

The confidence in Florida is overzealous at best. Regardless of the QB, Mizzu has a three headed running attack and they'll greatly dumb down the offense for Mauk. If they put up 17, it will be enough to win. Florida simply cannot score, and will sputter on offense @ Mizzu.

Taking Mizzu +3.

No Sir…  No Franklin, no chance!  Defense travels so put me down for Florida minus a field goal for three (3) C-Notes please.  Thanks!

Watched Mizzou all year and years past.  Franklin was impressing me a lot this year so far, but he is done for the regular season.  Maty Mauk set some records in High School for slinging the rock all over the field, BUT I don't think he could have gotten a worse draw this year for his first career start.  Florida could very well have the best secondary in the nation which means Mizzou is going to have to lean on their running attack A LOT.  We'll see how this spread em out running attack works if they aren't able to throw the rock around like usual.  If Mizzou wants to pull off the upset DGB (which keep in mind was the top recruit a few years back) needs to come up with some big plays to help out his young qb.  With all that said, I like the under in this game. Points should be hard to come by and MIZ will run more than usual.

Missouri can handle a real defense.
-No. 3 in the nation in total defense
-3rd in pass defense
-2nd in pass efficiency defense
-4th against the run

I think they will do just fine with Mauk, even though he isnt battle tested .  Kid's gotaa cannon for an arm,i see a few big plays made with this.

gimme MIZZ +3.0
