Could they possibly make a run at another one? Should the bulls and heat really worry?

I think they should really worry...the celtics are doing all of this without allen/pietrus...on top of that, if you look at their recent success, its their defense and teamwork thats getting the job done (just like the mavs last year...)

The 51st game of a shortened season is a barometer for virtually nothing in the future. 

As we all know, the playoffs are a different beast and the Celtics will likely struggle with any number of teams in the East---Magic, Pacers, Sixers, Hawks, Heat, Bulls.

In my opinion, they do not possess the roster to beat 3 out of these 6 teams in the East consecutively.

Because of the shortened season, they might have enough in the tank to make it through may and June. This current roster has the right pieces around rondo and they have a nice blend of young players with veterans.

Can they beat Indiana/Atlanta, Miami and Chicago in 3 straight series'? This is the likely gauntlet they will have to run.

Indiana/Atlanta? what are you talking about, celtics are in a different class than these teams. Atlanta has no chance against the celtics and indiana might make it a series but will still lose. The East is going to come down to Miami, Chicago, and Boston. Whoever is playing better ball when the playoffs roll around will be in the finals.

do they really play good ? i never liked them.they have no chance in play-offs to go one round next.

The Celtics, if they win the Atlantic division, will be hard pressed in a seven game series with either Atlanta or Indiana. Those teams are deep and can play defense---they are not "in a different class". The Celtics core players, except for Rondo, are older and are not likely to sustain the energy to emerge victorious against 3 straight defensive oriented teams/matchups(i.e. Indy/Atl,Mia,Chi)

If the Celtics end up with the 7th seed or lower, they will probably not get out of the 1st round.

I think you are very wrong. Rondo single handedly destroys teams,  garnett/pierce are not showing signs of age in games with rest and the Cs defense is superior to the likes of atlanta/indiana. But that is just my opinion....time will tell

I think the PGs make a difference.  Miami doesn't have one, and if Rose continues to be hurt then the match ups could be much easier. The rest of the East is good, but they need to show playoff staying temperament.
