Democrats need to do exactly what Obama has said and they need to get it done.  Extend current rates for the lower brackets and increase the upper bracket.  Simple as that.  Just put it in very stark terms and let everyone know who the R's are representing.

depeche - agree

Quit screwin around trying to appeal to the masses & placate the 'pubs cuz they don't give a garbage period & have shown that from day 1. If only 3 mil jobs were created in 8 yrs with the Bush tax cuts (with a pop growth of 22 mil), what in the heck do folks think it'll accomplish in this kind of economy?

Did he not know he signed this.

Maybe Lewinsky was under his desk at the time of signing.

Two "bobs" in this post! Lewinsky under the desk and the author.

Though the "wall" came down under Bush I presidency, Reagan is  credited for ending the Cold War and standing up to the Soviet Union .   That was no small feat  .

One of the things that destroyed our country is the same thing i have been saying over and over on this site.  The piece of garbage gop party kept giving the tax breaks to the rich and letting corporations move jobs overseas, without punishing those companies.  So all you all you corporation suckholes who think its okay for companies to move jobs overseas, so they can make bigger profits for themselves, congratulations on being part of one of the things that destroyed the very country you live in.   Let thne corporations go overseas with the jobs, its there right to make bigger profits for themselves without having to pay any taxes to bring those products back here.  Bravo guys on a great gop strategy.  And by the way the democrats are also to blame.

how do these companies survive once they 'screw this country' and move production over seas? Who buys their products?

The most effective way for the American Consumer to vote is with their money (and now that we've entered the paradox of thrift, they are voting down consumersim altogether) they won't go down without a fight, but people don't want debt anymore, and don't have any money, so they're not buying stuff

you want to bring jobs back, ban unions and allow the market to set wages and compensation, we'd have the economy humming in no time

my job has no long term phony baloney compensation package, the entire pay is front loaded, and i LOVE IT. and we are and have done very well throughout the GD 2.0 because we carry little to no debts

Was Bob really that bad?
Did he also make up things and run away when confronted with facts?
