My final straw was when I turned on the lights & saw her naked.

mutual divorce......reason: lack of love and passion, once the fire went out....its out.  maybe its because she got her green card

I wonder what the rates are for each age?

I was 33 when I got married and it was the smartest thing I ever did. I don't wanna go into details but I think I'd most likely be dead had I not met my wife, also she was an awsome Mom to my son who is now grown...and those are his words. I also lived more and did more things than I ever thought I would cause I'd have never done all those things had I been single.

I guess it all comes down to who you marry, when, and why.

If you marry a nut, when you are both inmature, and just because... it will most likely fail. Any of the three will harm a marrage.

If you marry a level headed gal, and you are both mature enough to deal with things, and consider yourselves fortunate to have met each other... odd are you will be happy.

The best advise I can give is made sure she's a friend because looks, money and health will all fade away... at least the lure will... so make sure you have a friend who will always be there, just for you.

These 26 or so reasons after the first post of this thread, of the 2000 or so reasons I already have experienced why I've never gotten married. I'ved lived with 5 different girls each a significant period of times, and my 20s seemed like a different girl about once a week......but it always gets to reach a point where it's either marry them or move on.....

There's also my main principle of if I'm broke, I don't want to give the girl half of it.

Not too many girls are going to want to sign a years worth of prenuptuals and any other documents that I can think of to protect myself when they inevitably lose their friggin minds,

.........which is always just a matter of time and hormonal issues.

Unless there are children involved, I really don't get the point of marriage..........the first person to post "love after thgis gets about 50 of these >>>>>  from me.

ain't even mad tho, just interested in the stories. we always hear about how people are divorced, blah blah, but never about what really led up to it. it's a tough jump to make from just being unhappy to saying "yeah, i want to be alone, poor, unsure of myself, possibly living with parents again temporarily, figure out if my person still works, etc"

Sounds like alot of people just flat out either marry too young, for the wrong reasons, or the wrong person. Avoid those mishaps and you'll have a happy marriage. I got married at 35 and it's been real simple. GL

Dated her for 4+ years and we never had sex as she was Christian and wanted to wait until marriage.  I always thought it was weird but she was awesome so I went along with it...you have to play the game sometimes.

On our honeymoon even the first night she didn't want to get down to business and I was getting very irritated.  very early the next morning I wake up and I feel something on my thigh.  I figured I woke up with a boner but come to find out it was HER boner.  Chick had a person.

Had an annulment the next day.
