The NBA season is a grind.  Never wager more than 5% of your bankroll on a game.  I know.  But sometimes there is a game that you truly love where your heart, mind and gut all agrees in unison.

Tonight I will wager half my bankroll on ATL -2 (-115).

Orlando has been my nemesis all season.  When they're supposed to destroy their opponent, they lose straight up.  When they're supposed to lose to good team, they dominate.  My timing has been off with them all season.

ATL has had their ups and downs all season.  Trying to find the key piece in losing Al Horford caused some inconsistency throughout the season.  But with Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, and the bench, the team is finally in stride to make a push in the playoffs.

So why ATL to win big?  It's been a few games since Dwight Howard's been out.  Orlando's had all kinds of problems inside and outside the locker room.  The only way Orlando can win is for Jameer, Reddick, and especially Anderson to shoot the hell out of the ball from 3 point range.  Without Howard attacking the offensive boards, there will be a lot of one shot possessions unless Orlando catches fire tonight.

I like ATL too much tonight.  Call me a square if the public is all over ATL as well.  Even if I lose tonight, I'm content to accept the fact that I'll be throwing away months of research and savings.

Life is short and precious.  No guts no glory.

GL everyone tonight!  Enjoy the games!

GL  It definitely could happen.  Unfortunately, the public is pounding Atlanta, BUT ... the public does win sometimes.  Really hope it hits for you.  Lord knows Atlanta has the talent and has beat them enough in the past.

Thanks guys.  Bets like this are never supposed to be this easy.  I thought ATL double-digit victory, but never thought the human cigar (Jerry Stackhouse) would make an appearance early in the fourth quarter.  Glad I went with the gut.  Good luck tonight guys!

Yeah, I don't encourage doing boneheaded plays like this.  In the long run the book wins when you don't do proper money management.  I dunno... even with D12, ATL has owned them all season.

Who do you like tonight?  LAL coming off a big victory over SA laying 3.5 at home against Denver a sucker bet?  If Kobe doesn't play, I like the Lakers at home.

The whole bankroll garbage is stupid. If you can win constantly without losing streak longer than 3~4 losses, why not bet 20% or even more of your bankroll per game? The key to succes is how you pick games, your winning rate and consistency, not some friggin bankroll management bullshit.

I think bankroll management is vital to long term success.  Unfortunately garbage happens in life and undoubtedly in sports.  You need that insurance.  Can't win 'em all.  However, sometimes there's that game stands out where you're pretty sure one team will dominate the other.

Anywho... I put some of my new found roll money on Indy (+3.5) this morning (7%):

I can understand why Milwaukee is a favorite in this game.  They are currently the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference fighting for a playoff spot.  On records alone, they've been hot in April (5-2).

Now let's talk Pacers.  If you think Milwaukee's been hot, Pacers are 7-1 in April w/ their lone loss coming at home against a hot Boston team (before they fell off the wagon against Toronto last night???).

Everyone including the books is thinking that Milwaukee will roll because they're in "survival" playoff mode.  But who has Milwaukee really beaten this month?  The Wizards, Trailblazers, Cleveland, Charlotte, and Detroit in dominating fashion.

Indiana is the much better team.  Will they perform tonight is another story.  Hard to pass up a #3 seed over #9 seed getting 3.5 points.  I think the Pacers have a good enough defense to stop Jennings/Ellis.

FYI: Pacers backers, just watch your favorite TV Show when Tyler Hansborough is on the floor.  That guy will drive you drink.

BOL tonight fellas!

I understand the Pacers suck covering big spreads, but they win outright. Milwaukee will be lucky if they can even win this game.

My wager was done this morning.  Not buying it out... when the spread is now at -3.

DaBao: If you do not do proper betting management, bookies will beat you to your knees. It's not about the bullshit u state, you NEVER know when you will have a bad pick, when you will have a bad game, when you will be unlucky, and because of this: If you put 20 Units on the board every day, you will eventually end up being cleaned for your roll in 5 picks, that is not smart. With less units out, you can afford losing 10 in a row if it comes down to it.

vision23x: Congratz with the win, i was on Atlanta too, now be careful with your units, dont be some kind of braveheart just because u got this.
