#3 Posted: 5/9/2012 3:19:11 PM Brandon Roy had heart playin f....d up knees, results is there, no legs to play pro bb anymore. If they get one more win, its thinkable, but like DaddysHome said, they already lost.

Grant Hill did also. Knicks aren't going to win either way so why risk your career. |

#7 Posted: 5/9/2012 4:18:11 PM I'm sure all you weekend warriors would risk your health and career for one day at work....
same here... why risk one game for the sake of delaying the inevitable?
i love the knicks, but they are overmatched and everybody knows it... this schedule has rocked so many teams...
lets put it all together next year with a normal schedule and normal preseason... there's no rush....
play for a 3 or 4 seed next year and get home court.. this is all foundation....

#9 Posted: 5/9/2012 6:50:39 PM Jeremy Lin just had knee surgery a month ago. He's expecting a huge payday this offseason. Brandon Roy and Grant Hill were already inked and had nothing to lose. Jeremy Lin is the type of player that has to give 110% just to be competitive in the league. He's not th emost gifted player and hes not the most athletic player so he has to outhustle his opposition. In order to do that you have to be 100% or damn near close to it. The chances of the Knicks coming back against the Heat are ridiculously low. Jeremy Lin has a long career ahead of him and he's just looking at the big picture. If he plays and plays well, he may boost his stock. But if he plays and gets dominated, his stock may drop. At the moment, Lin's stock is high enough where he's confident he will get a nice contract from the Knicks or another team. To say the guy has no heart is just silly. Would YOU be playing against the best players at the neighborhood gym a month after having your knee operated on???
I didn't think so... |

The last time they played Miami, Cole and Chalmet had a field time on him. |

#13 Posted: 5/9/2012 7:46:11 PM Dont blame him.... He has a big contract coming up. He is going to be rusty and slow, he can only hurt is stock by playing crappy and worst case scenario he further injures himself. With or with out him, this series is done |
