#1 Posted: 4/27/2012 3:30:26 PM Please post 5 winning teams and 5 losing teams. It doesn't have to be in any order. Please don't post either the Colts or Redskins because we know those selections.
Winners: New England, Dallas, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh
Losers: 49ers...reach in my opinion. Titans - thought they had other needs. Broncos not doing anything to help Peyton in round one. Seahawks - don't understand the pick. Bears - I don't know why they didn't draft an offensive lineman.

#2 Posted: 4/27/2012 3:47:35 PM I'd wait til after tonight to start grading....................as far as the Seahawks' pick, I was dumbfounded at 1st too. But having heard all the info that I have now, it appears they got the best pass-rusher in the draft (which is what they were looking for), & there was talk that the Jets, Balt. & NE would have taken him if the 'hawks didn't. Off-the-field issues had him knocked down by many of the prognosticaters. |

#4 Posted: 4/27/2012 4:15:25 PM funny everyone down on picks by seattle and san fran
but its just because what you have been told by projectors like mcgay and widows peak.
nfl teams projected irivin to go in first round, the jets, ravens, 49ers at least were prepared to take him
as far as jenkins, why is anyone here so sold that s. hill or fat alshon jeffrey are better players? have you seen jenkins play with a garbage qb and garbage coach? jenkins was also rated by some as the #3 wr, some being nfl teams, and some nfl teams, since those are the experts, had him above floyd/wright. high character guy too, all academic team too. |

#5 Posted: 4/27/2012 4:36:05 PM Only the first round has been picked, teams trading back still have extra picks for moving back and teams moving up now have less picks. It's like picking a winner in baseball after the first inning. |

#6 Posted: 4/27/2012 5:57:53 PM I hate the Cowboys, but moving up and taking Claiborne was brilliant
I thought the Niners blew it, but upon further review, Jenkins probably would not be there in the second round. After taking a "reach" with Aldon Smith last year (remember this guy? Almost broke rookie sack record despite playing only on passing downs), I'm willing to give the Niners a PASS on this one. They need a burner in case R.Moss reverts back to stupid form.
Cleveland-what were you thinking? Did you think the Vikings were going to take Richardson? You need to rebuild, and you're trading 3 draft picks away? Yes, they're late picks. Tom Brady was a late pick. And Weeden? Really?
Rams-really boned themselves. Hey, we need weapons for Bradford, let's get fucked trying to get Blackmon! After getting burned on Blackman, let's trade down some more. We can get Floyd later! Unless of course, Arizona needs a wr to complement Fitzgerald. OOPS!

#9 Posted: 4/27/2012 9:30:32 PM I think the Bears will be ok they still got 4 picks and the line is young and now w/o Martz calling crazy plays/protection schemes..got a few weapons for Cutler now add a CB,OL help and we will be in business..
I like having a GM drafting to fill needs.. |

#11 Posted: 4/27/2012 9:45:33 PM meant to say 49ers are losers in this draft imo
Saw nearly every game Jenkins was in at Illinois. I understand that he ran a 4.39 40 but it doesnt show in the game.
Quickness and straight line speed are two completely different things. Many WR's can run 4.3's and be terrible WR's in the NFL.
I give you an example of Kendall Wright at Baylor who ran a 4.49 in the 40 but imo is very quick on the field and elusive. Kendall Wright will have a better career than AJ Jenkins imo and it won't be close. |

#14 Posted: 4/28/2012 10:53:23 AM Lions are by far the biggest losers in this draft. They had a great opportunity to improve their defense or get TWO future o lineman and they drafted a wr to someday replace burleson who will be #4 on depth chart this year, after he gets off the PUP list in the second round. |

#17 Posted: 4/28/2012 4:26:36 PM cowboys are winners, they got the db they badly needed now to match with carr to make that a strength and they got a slot wr in coale who will be similar to a brandon stokley.
stoked about cowboys draft. this is a better football team today |

The Bills have picked up some good players in free agents and draft picks.Problem with the Bills now is they haven't had a really good qb since Jim Kelly.I really don't think Fitzparick is the answer but I've been wrong before.Good Luck |

not sure about the best corner but i did like their draft. a little offense heavy though. it's obviously early but i expect the bills will be a good ats team next season.

#21 Posted: 4/29/2012 12:08:37 PM Patriots getting 2 stud defensive players (love Hightower) in the 1st rd & added depth on the DL with Bequette in the 3rd Rd were great moves.....Also, Dennard was an absolute steal in the 7th Rd, as long as he stays straight.

Really love the off season Moves .. Finally got the Pass rushers we have needed since Bruce left. DLine should be rock solid . Hoping someone can beat out Kirk Morrison at LB. other than that I dont see too many holes on this years roster
