these kinds of crazy runs happen in EVERY sport and league.... i have seen plenty of home favorites go down 17-0 in the NFL, only to comeback and win.... it happens plenty in college as well.... the swings are a part of sportsbetting..... once you learn to handle the swings, NBA is the best sport to bet on imo for 2 reasons:
1) there is a lot of back data due to frequent match-ups between the teams. in football, the teams play each other so infrequently, the back data is not as reliable. also, because there is only 1 game a week, its harder to judge if a team overperformed or is actually as good as their last performance. 2) there are 90-100 possesions per game, meaning if you fuck up 5 or 6 possesions, there is plenty of time to recover. in football, there is only 10-15 possessions per game. committing even 1 or 2 turnovers is a huge handicapp 3) the level of talent provides much more consistency than college basketball.
chicago only down by 29-43.... yes, they can still comeback to win and even cover the spread.
