I'm still going to be out there drinking, playing blackjack, eating unhealthy food, lighting up a stogie, watching football and placing plenty of wagers......and likely spending some of the winnings at the Rhino ;) Let me know if you happen to be in town and want to hang out, watch some football and grab a few pints. Veteran Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1023 Location: California	#2 Posted: 8/31/2012 1:14:33 PM Last 7 Years I have been going to Vegas NFL week 1 college week 2, this year I chose to change it as Id like some of my betting systems to kick in after teams have played a couple of games so I chose week 3 NFL and week 4 college.

THats great mafioso. How do you find the first weekend normally (not only the books but Vegas in general. I'm hoping its not as crowded as Labor day weekend and that they slow down a bit. Like to play a significant amount of blackjack while I'm there and would prefer doing it without drunk people making making single bets on a BJ table and then walking away.

Veteran Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1023 Location: California	#4 Posted: 9/5/2012 3:50:23 AM Opening week is a zoo, packed, If you dont get to the sportsbook by atleast 7 AM Saturday Morning, It will be hard to find a seat for college football. For NFL You need to be at the book by no later than 8 AM or you will not find a seat. Drunks are everywhere, but mostly at local joints like the Rio, GoldCoast and stations casinos. The strip mostly places like MGM Grand and Belagio do not have a multitude of drunks playing blackjack, Other hipper spots like the Palms and Hardrock are loaded with the young obnoxious drunk crowds.

Thanks for the tips buddy appreciate it. Typically hang out at just the MGM properties like MGM, Bellagio etc. so should be look. Hoping to find a spot at the Bellagio book both days.....spent some time there last year and thought it was the best option. Can't wait.....going to be there tomorrow this time.
