#5 Posted: 3/22/2012 11:12:25 AM Typically the Saturday games are like 4:45 and 8:00 so if history is any indication that's prob a good approximation. |

#8 Posted: 3/22/2012 12:38:50 PM I was in the Orleans Arena sky box for the WAC tournament and I saw beer stations at all levels. We had a fridge so no problem with beer, premium seating level had a bar. Beautiful arena. I would think arenas need the revenue, they sell beer at our home games at SS Ctr, I think and at Aloha Stadium for fb. |

This is false. It depends on the stadium and the campus. If you ever get bored and want to go watch a circus go to a Louisville football gams at Papa John's stadium. 50,000 drunks and no one cares about the game. Most games that are played on campus there is no beer, but if the games are played off site then it is up to the NCAA, Stadium management, and the schools involved. University of Evansville this year just started selling beer at their games. That still does not answer your question but what i would say is it just depends. |

#12 Posted: 3/22/2012 1:02:50 PM No beer sales at the final four in indy two years ago. A bunch of drunk WVU and Duke fans. It was a nightmare |

#13 Posted: 3/22/2012 1:04:40 PM That didn't make the most sense, but the student section we ended up in, had a ton of people who snuck hard liquor in and they ended up loaded. I don't know why they don't put the students from schools that are playing each other on opposite ends of the floor. |

#14 Posted: 3/22/2012 1:16:11 PM If it's an NCAA sponsored tournament event, there is no alcohol besides in the suites.
Regular season football/basketball games are another story |

This is right. Went to Lucas Oil a few years ago for Louisville/Arizona and Louisville/MSU and there was no beer being sold.

Spot on. If they're playing where an NBA or hockey team is playing then yes. I went to the Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadium and they sold beer. Needed after Butler beat Michigan State 52-50.

Not sure you can say that about all NCAA events... I played baseball in the SunBelt conference 2004-07 and we sold beer at every single game at our on campus stadium. Every school in the conference sold beer and we played one year at FSU for the NCAA tournament and they also sold beer |
