#26 Posted: 1/2/2013 12:23:42 PM Crash: If you are acquainted with Element Hotels (Westin and Starwood brands, non-gaming, green/eco focus, but, not over the top, very nice, spacious, great free breakfasts). One mile from Red Rock off I-215. They are currently offering a $96 rate non-refundable deposit ($87 AAA or AARP rate if you have either refundable deposit, honestly, I would book under one of these rates and claim I forgot my card works all the time, also, you can book a reservation now and cancel at the last minute) for 2/1- 2/4/12 dates.Reservations are for accessible rooms, once you arrive the hotel will switch you out if you prefer. Element is little out of the way, but, accessible to anywhere on I-215 (the beltway around LV). Quite a peaceful and quite new hotel, but, can be in the middle of action at the Red Rock Casino very quickly). |

#27 Posted: 1/2/2013 7:34:19 PM Got a room comped at Monte Carlo.Still charged a $20 per night resort fee[huh] but not to bad I guess.
They have a Super Bowl party thats open to the public on a 37 foot screen. Nice hotel, but never checked out there SB party .
Last year spent SB Sunday at some Irish bar off the strip. BAD IDEA . Still looking at some other options.
Good luck crash Lets hit those prop plays brother

But anywhere in LV prob beats watching the game from home Have a blast wherever man.
I love the Coast, it is a dive but a good one. I have never stayed there though. Have gambled there and used to eat in their dining room which has now changed. (9.95 crab legs) |

I used to be comped at Monte Carlo but got too drunk one night at the craps table and made a total behind of myself. They have not had me back.

Crash, I usually get in line really early, about 10 A.M., and by the time they open the doors around 12:30 or 1 there are about 200 people in line. So long as you get there by 1:30 or so you can grab seats no problem. They also open betting windows right outside the ballrooms. |
