POPE Paterno! The problem with Joe Paterno, and not limited to him, is that he thought more of not acting against his friend and employee than he thought of acting FOR the victims of the crimes.

The insular nature of college sports and the money involved prostitutes nearly everyone involved. There can be no argument that he should go; ironically, the same argument could be made about the real pope.

I thin he should have been fired but that is beside the point.  How can you live knowing you could have stopped all those kids from being traumatized for the rest of their lives and you did not do enough? 

As for Sandusky, he will be raped and killed in jail very soon.  The lifers don't take lightly to child molesters.

I saw Rice play against UH...they literally ran 1 play the entire game, "quarterback option"......Joe Pa is the guilty one....they are still treating this guy as if he was royalty....what makes it worse...they let Sandusky to come back on campus with more kids after the alleged incident...WTF!

Big Joe Pa fan here. I actually do think they had good enough reason to get rid of him for this game, so the 110K or whatever it is fans wouldn't be cheering for a guy that most of the country sees as impotent for doing very little regarding the situation in PA.......But I like the fact you stand up for him anyway.
