#101 Posted: 10/10/2012 9:47:06 AM Boom been doing my homework on this LSU/South Carolina game: South Carolina played under par at Vandy and trailed 17-7 at Kentucky. I am starting to think this homefield coupled with LSU getting embarrased is favoring LSU. I didnt understand the line until I took some time to do some homework. |

Your offense IS too complicated. Stinespring doesn't have an offense, so he picks his favorite parts from a whole bunch of offenses, leaving you with an unwieldy mess. Do something well, don't do ten things badly.
Now the defense is what I don't understand. I thought y'all would have the #2 D in the conference behind Florida State. How did UNC pick up 340 on the ground? |

I hope CU wins out and wins the ACC again. I honestly do because when SC beats CU this year it just gives them more credibility for the 2012 season. As for the LSU game. You listen to the same show in the upstate that I listen and call on sometimes, And u know that a national contender coming off their first loss never plays as well as they do prior to losing. And let's be honest the only reason that anyone on this board is picking LSU is because their at home. SC has a better QB and the best player on the field In Clowney, Plus which person would honestly take Les Miles over Steve Spurrier when the teams are even or close to even in talent. SC wins and I think they may win fairly easily. If not I will find u next week and give u ur props.... BTW just an FYI If SC wins at LSU they have a great shot of winning out..... TC and BOL 2 all bettors ! Gamecock Billy nobody is hating on the gamecocks.... go read the first page I gave them much credit. There a good football team. No question.
AT LSU AT NIGHT...yeah, Im taking LSU.
I do not listen to the local radio anymore. It's absolutely ridiculous. There are several people on there that are flat obnoxious. Too many of them are one sided to everything.
I love how you gamecock fans have this arrogant attitude as if you are going to stroll into Clemson and beat us in Death Valley. Billy I like you and you and I have always got along.... but dont assume Im hating on USC when that's far from the truth....also dont assume that you guys are that much better then us.... trust me, when you come to Death Valley IT WILL be the best offense you see all year. FSU has a lights out defense and we put 37 on them AT FSU....

#111 Posted: 10/10/2012 9:09:51 PM Any thoughts on the cuse +7 at rutgers.. I know Rutgers is coming off a bye, but their kicker is out and Cuse has played just about all their opponents tight this year |

#113 Posted: 10/10/2012 9:34:59 PM We all know the TCU QB situation. I think they have trouble scoring @ Baylor this weekend. Baylor's weak defense might look better this week. TCU is young and really hurting after losing their QB.
I'm playing Baylor/TCU under 68. |

Yeah, Tenn has a good passing attack and Miss St. has very good Dbs too. I don't doubt Tenn will move the ball thru the air BUT Miss St is MUCH MORE physical on both lines and will run the ball on Tenn. The late start at home will have the Miss St crowd stoked and the cowbells will be rocking. and Miss. St has been looking at this game since it dispatched Aub. as the game to prove it was for real. I will be VERY surprised if Tenn. wins this game. |

Much more physical than Tenn??? Are you aware that Tenn didnt give up a single sack against Georgia and ran for 200 yards on them. Tenn has nothing but monsters on the Oline, no one under 300lbs. They also have a 360 lb NT that is a beast in McCullers and no team has run between the tackles on them. Every successful run play in the UF and UGA games were off tackle or on sweeps. I will be very surprised if Tenn loses this game as Msst doesnt have anything close to the athletes UF and UGA have on offense. Look at the competition difference and explosive plays.. big advantages for the Vols Must win for Vols with backs against the wall and off bye week Vols +3 is solid

Really suprised you are on Iowa St? All Kstate does is play solid ball (no matter home or away). Every time I watch them, they continue to impress me on playing smart football, don't turn the ball over and are VERY physical. Everybody was impressed with that OU win, but I think it could be even more impressive if OU continues to win. People automatically started hating on OU b/c they lost, but maybe they lost to a REALLY good football team, and OU is pretty good themselves?
I have only seen Iowa St play once (v Iowa) and was not at all impressed. Obviously they could be much improved since then? I have also been reading how TCU turned the ball over (something like 5x with a QB who was playing RB on Wed in practice) and TCU still had a chance to win that game.
I was gonna put some $$ on KSU & was one of my more favorable games. I just looked at your picks though...
Insight? |

Insight? I was hoping some one would at least bring this game up.
This game, if you already didnt know...is a rivalry game. It's always traditionally a close game. Snyder has a pretty big game coming up and I wonder if his players are looking ahead.
Also, Im not a big line movement guy but....people are hammering K st... and the line is staying put

darn the rivalry aspect, who doesn't K-State play close? Kansas. Miami. Is Iowa State Kansas or Miami? Snyder wins, but he only blows out the dregs. He wins close games against everybody else. |
