Veteran Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 3478 Location: Oregon	#11128 Posted: 2/25/2013 2:00:02 PM I have resurrected an old system that I used to play for NHL games back in the day when I lived in Vegas with some great results. You can get the stats from right here on Covers. I like playing the Unders but you can also use it for Over plays as well. Add both teams GF and GA avg. divide by 2. If the number falls below 5 it's a great Under play. Example tonight's play would be Montreal-Ottawa Montreal Stats GF-2.82 GA-2.24 Ottawa Stats GF-2.28 GA 1.83 Add the above numbers= 9.17 divide by 2=4.58 This number is a strong Under play. ________________________________________________ There are other factors involved but this is the gist of the system. A good example of other factors would be when a team is suddenly hot and scoring alot of goals. I would lay off and wait for the numbers to come back down. One word of caution be very careful if that number falls between 5.2-5.6. That can be very tricky. Good Luck

Dallas-Columbus Under 5.5 Note: Dallas has been scoring alot of goals lately but with the line at 5.5 we can justify the Under play because Columbus is #29 in Offense and Dallas is #18. So we have a mathcup between 2 poor Offenses against 2 poor Defenses. In a situation like this I will side with the Defense especially with the line being 5.5. If the line was 5 then this would be a no play for me. Good Luck tonight!

Looks like the terrible Offenses have taken over the terrible Defenses of both these teams. Now I have to sweat out the 3rd period and hope these teams muster up some D to keep my streak alive! Wow.

The first meeting this year was a Hurricane beat down for Duke. I look for Duke to return the favor today in a huge revenge game at home.

Both games have gone to Shootouts and I totally expect the Ducks to salvage one game in this series. Since it's in Anaheim this is the game you want to go big on. Take the Ducks and I will see you at the Cashier's window! Good Luck!

I like Oregon tonight +3.5. Lost by 1 at home, but played terrible and didn't have PG.
