good luck on your Saturday Night Special. Well at least we can agree on the Cowboys! I hate the Cowboys with a Purple Passion since I'm a long suffering Viking fan. One of personal highlights was going to Minnesota which I do every except last year and watching my Vikings whip the snot out of them Cowboys in 2010. This was the year after we whipped the snot out of them in the Playoffs that that fool Keith Brookings promised to whip us. Watching those Cowboy fans leave after talking trash was priceless. Man did we give those clowns a hard time. |

#8883 Posted: 5/19/2012 10:25:57 PM The Root of Smooth's Hate For The Cowboys! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFsb4vIvLzI This will tell you the story Vikings-Cowboys 1975. The Hail Mary. I was a 13 yr. old kid at the time and this broke my heart. The best Viking team at that time going down on some BS non call by the refs. #2 reason. Being born in DC you have no idea the what hatred for the Cowboys is in that town. Redskin fans are by far the most rabid fans in the country. You can't get season tickets to save your life. The waiting list is at least 35 yrs long and that's not a joke. I have even heard longer than 50. People will their tickets to relatives when they die. You simply can't wear Cowboys gear in DC unless you want to throw down. Ask any fan in DC about the fanatical Redskin fans and listen to what they say. #3 Being raised in Cali the Cowboys for some reason trained in Southern Cal in Thousand Oaks for over 30 years. All the beautiful girls loved the Cowboys. This is the reason why they're so many Cowboy fans in Cali. The one thing we could all agree on when we started arguing about our teams was our hate for the Dallas Cowboys. This holds true to this day. The only time I felt sorry for those guys was when they sucked so bad it was no fun hating them. I wanted them to get better so we could hate them again. Thank you Troy Aikman, Michael Irving and Emmitt Smith. So it's in my blood. I was bred to hate Dallas I just can't help it.

I thinkwe need to drop this silly terminology.Nobody really knows who they are anyway. When Czech_Razor came in talking about the Sharps, and Busters I understood where he was coming from but I didn't necessarily agree with the theory. My take on it is that Sharps are the guys that make the Plays that Czech espouses where they follow the line movements and bet according to those late movements of the lines. Wise Guys are the guys that go inside the numbers and look for that edge. In other words Wise Guys are stat guys who crunch numbers and look for the edge or what you may call an Overlay by the books based on their information on a game. That Sixer-Celtic game was a classic Wise Guy move. That's why I bet it heavily and was talking about it. All the sharps was on the Under, all the cappers was taking the Under but if you looked at the numbers the Over was where the percentages were heavily favored. The Wise Guys would typically bet heavy on games like this. That's my definition of Wise Guys and rubbing shoulders with those guys in Vegas like you do now that's what I was told Wise Guys do. I think Busters is a term for the general public who just bet what's popular without any real research behind it. I think we are all Busters at times. I know I am. Czech rubbed alot of people the wrong way and is way too sensitive about criticism but I liked the names he used because I thought it brought to life the different betting philosophies. That's just my take on it. |

Yeah that was painful. I lost my streak on that garbage and my money. I think the Royals knew that their Manager was on the hot seat for doing so bad earlier in the season and lately have been playing better. |

#8888 Posted: 5/19/2012 11:13:07 PM All the talk about the Lakers being old and not being able to play back- to- back is being shown to be the garbage that it is. People seem to forget that back-to-back Playoff games used to be the regular deal back in the day. Somehow now it's become a rarity like daytime Playoff baseball. I think we need to stop putting such a premium on the ad dollars and just get back to what works for the fans. After all without us none of the dollars would circulate. |

#8891 Posted: 5/20/2012 5:46:01 AM Are you tired of the haters? Undercover hypocrites, Flame throwers, trolls who come on your thread and talk trash but don't ever back it up. Well I have come up with a solution. I just created a new thread the Battle Forum specifically designed to fight it out and resolve the issue. Now when you have that pesky hater spewing their trash. Just tell them to take it to the Battle Forum and settle it. There is only 1 rule in the Battle Forum whatever you agree on you must honor it. Whether it's a six pack of beer or a Hawaiian vacation. All agreements must be honored. Other than that it's a freak show of disputes and quarrels about systems and who's who. Somebody don't like your picks. Take them to the Battle Forum and settle it. http://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=79&sub=101349468 |

When it's used over and over its gets a bit old. No problem Plisskin. I didn't catch the sarcasm. LOL But I know what you're saying Czech wore it out. He's got some beef with me because he tweeted about how he was losing and when somebody asked how he was doing I said I didn't know because he stopped communicating with me but I know he's losing a lot. This was based on his tweets. So he got all bent out of shape on Twitter and started going off on me. I'm like seriously dude. These are your tweets. That guy is way too sensitive. Now he got banned not just rehabbed but banned for good. He burned way too many bridges. He will probably be back under another name. |

Plisskin...... They're hot, man. HOT! It's your world Crush. I'm on the opposite end. I suffered my worst loss ever in Baseball. 10-0 a shutout at the hands of Shanks? This has got be a bad dream. But that guy's teams in every sport finds a way to beat mine. Amazing. Thank goodness Booyahz's team suffered as well because all I need is 6th place and we're in the dance. |

You'll bounce back this week, Brother! That's funny to hear that about Czechers. He talked a good game, but it's all about the win column. Tomorrow my pick will be dedicated to him. A special BUSTAMOVE! |
