Quick question...I noticed that you have a few +/-3 on your card. What does a 'tie' do to your TGP?

Lets get this... Thanks for the support!!
Love what you said here. parts make to whole. At the end, fun is all it count. Also, it is very true about the excitement of waiting for the last team. Sometimes I want to buy insurance for it(meaning put money on the opposite team so that you will win either way) best of luck to all.

#120 Posted: 11/17/2012 8:39:58 AM Good luck to all! I've been looking at the cards and trying to see what I would pull out. Just curious but how do any of you feel about the same team in 2 parlays? I try to never do that and was wondering what some other thoughts were? In this case Syracuse being in both. Thanks. |

#121 Posted: 11/17/2012 9:00:48 AM You may have a good point warna but when you are doing 10 teamers it is much harder to keep duplicate teams out but i share your worry but thus is the nature of the beast! |

#122 Posted: 11/17/2012 9:06:56 AM Agreed. I have certainly done it myself and been on both sides. Hoping that all of you are on the right side. Best of luck. Looking forward to jumping in on the next 60k next weekend. |

All you are doing is playing a parlay that you will throw away after 3 games and if you win 8 out 10 you will gripe about how you lost those 2. If you are going to play parlays then play a 4 teamer. People get so caught up on trying to hit those huge plays instead of looking at gambling at what it is and that is year long game. Money management is almost half of what you need to be successful. I have seen a lot of people that can pick games but lose money because they suck at money management. The problem is most gamblers are not good at managing money. They play 10-20 games in college football. Its retarded. I play 3 to maybe 5 games. Why sit there and nickel and dime your way instead of just focusing on getting 3- 5 plays on a college football weekend. MLB, College bball and NBA are completely different beasts. NFL is just a waste of money unless you take dogs every single week especially playing ML dogs in the NFL same in MLB and college Bball.
I've hit many parlays so have no idea what you're talking about....Including a 8-Teamer which paid out $50 for $10,400....The best way to parlay is to get yourself into a Hedge position so matter what side you play on your last game your coming out with more than what you put in. You might even get to middle it.....Yes it is like striking lighting in a bottle, but it can be done. |
