#1 Posted: 4/29/2012 3:43:35 AM memphis 26-7 at home. memphis top to bottom can handle clips. conley-paul (advantage paul), tony allen (advantage tony allen) foye or mo will, gasol (advantage) versus deandre jordan (are you kidding me?), blake (advantage) vs zebo (x-factor), and rudy happy (advantage) versus butler. 3-2 memphis! bench MAYO-SPEIGHTS-ARENAS versus kenyon martin, mo williams, nic really young, reggie eavens i say OJ Mayo gives memphis the slight edge with the bench, but that's debatable. it really boils down to how amazing chris paul is, and he's a little nicked up. memphis was a beast in last year's playoffs. EXPERIENCE. home teams won during the regular season. no reason to believe it won't be any different in this series. memphis in 7. |

#5 Posted: 4/29/2012 5:31:00 AM Tony Allen, OJ Mayo will be the difference.
The bigs are suspect for the Clips. Deandre Jordam is simply too stupid to play at a high level on both ends. Blake Griffin is a soft, unskilled, POS that plays for a highlight or two. K Mart, do I need to comment on him...... |

#6 Posted: 4/29/2012 12:31:19 PM thanks for your comments. i feel like memphis gets no love. but they beat san antonio last year and then took OKC to 7 games. when the warriors beat dallas as 1-8 upset they were manhandled by utah in the next series. not so with memphis; because memphis is a real team. they only mistake is greavas vasquez for quincy pondexter. lioneal hollins got a little larry brown (obsessively disappointed in players for poor reasons). |

#7 Posted: 5/2/2012 3:27:42 PM i still think memphis is the better team, though they're 1-3 versus the clips so far. here's swinging up hill! go GRIZ! |

#9 Posted: 5/2/2012 3:49:48 PM Before the series i would have said huge coaching edge to grizz, but blowing a 24 point lead with 8 min left is squarely on the coach and point guard imo more than anyone. |

If this is the case, then Clippers have the advantage. Paul was just amazing against the Lakers in the playoffs last year.
Also, a big factor in the Griz is that happy and Zebo don't work well together (kinda like how Melo and Amare don't work well together). And who is the leader of the Griz? There is no clear leader. There is no doubt Paul is the clear leader of the Clips. |

#16 Posted: 5/3/2012 12:35:45 AM well, what is the collective thought after this win? seems like memphis grinded this one out-- the superior team over the superior player (chris paul)? |
