BOS averaging 99.7 & allowing 92.7 in last 9 games. Pierce & Garnett are averaging 33.6 pts/gm while Terry & Green are averaging double digits. Their defence is starting to look like the Celtics we know, last five opponents held to 41.1 % shooting going into the game last night vs Denver. As for the Lakers, Howard has not helped defensively, partly because of the shoulder injury he's been battling and partly because of bad coaching. LAL allowing 105.2 pts/gm and 48.6 % shooting last 5 games before the all-star break. BOS is 16-7-1 ATS last 24 meetings & 4-1 last 5 meetings in LA. BOS is on a 7-2 ATS run since losing Rondo. LAL are 4-10 last 14 gms vs teams with SU winning records. BOS Celtics +7 1/2
