#2 Posted: 12/23/2008 12:27:59 PM The Raiders are horrible, BUT 13 point is a lot for Tampa Bay to cover. Plus the Raiders actually won last week when I gave them the points! Take the dogs this week with such a large spread.
Raiders +13 |

I'm a Bucs fan and 13 points with that offense is way too much. The Raiders may win outright |

#5 Posted: 12/24/2008 6:13:55 PM with lane k's dad as the tampa defensive coordinator I have no doubt they will win this game . I think the over is looking pretty good. The chargers ripped the bucks a new ahole last week and I have seen the raiders score over 20 two weeks in a row now so bad as they are the silver and black is starting to improve...time for mr. davis to open up his wallet just like the yankees and grab some new players to put this crap season to the history books.....merry christmas handicappers |

I don't see the Raiders winning, but at 13, I see them covering - just like I do for the Jacksonville / Baltimore game this week too. Especially if Garcia takes another shot to the head early on in the game.
Also, I just don't understand how the suddenly rejuvenated Chargers threw all over this 5th ranked passing defense of the Bucs last week? Maybe they should have aimed that cannon at Philip Rivers!!!!!

#10 Posted: 12/26/2008 1:22:41 PM As much as I want the Raiders to win so that my Eagles have a shot at the playoffs, it's just not going to happen. Yes the Raiders have been playing well (for them), but Chucky will stamp them out.. -13 seems like a lot but when the game ends 31-10 TB everyone will wonder how they didn't bet the team that's been 6-1 at home against a Horrid Raiders team flying to the east coast for a 1pm game. Wouldn't be surprised to see a DTD on the TB's part either.. |

#11 Posted: 12/26/2008 2:47:05 PM I really like a Raiders cover here! Tampa has str8 up sucked agsint the run lately and.....the Raiders will take advantage of it. I think Tampa will win the game but not by anymore than 10! |

Gruden vs AL Davis what a way to end the season.
The Raiders are certainly one team Chucky does not want to lose to. He won't.... |

#16 Posted: 12/28/2008 1:26:19 AM Tampa Bay comes off an embarrassing spanking as home favorites to the Chargers L/week. Will atone big time, in last homer. Bucs come in with skill and emotional pluses. Will find a way to cover! Expect Bucs to bounce back, especially after a poor defensive effort. Seasonal ATS records support this bet. Raiders may even come in "flat" after their big cover L/week. |

#19 Posted: 12/28/2008 10:07:32 AM I'm not laying 13 with that fading team.......I'll take Oakland to play the bad guy roll. Look out, they are playing better over the last month......all stats are way up.....2-2 SU I believe.......I'll take Oakland here. |

#20 Posted: 12/28/2008 11:28:52 AM A lot of line movement in this game.....TB down to -11...
Is Garcia out or is there some other significant factor that is moving the line??? |

#21 Posted: 12/28/2008 11:28:56 AM I'll take the OVER in this one. The Raiders defense doesn't match up well against the balanced West Coast offense of the Bucs. Especially when they know they have to win this game, Gruden will have these guys ready to go. Higgins is good for at least one score on his own. I have a feeling the Raiders can put together one more scoring drive in this one as well.
OVER 39
Prediction: Tampa Bay 30 Oakland 14
