I've never gotten New York as one of the "great cities of the world."  It's unique, and I totally understand why some people love it, but it's really not much to look at and it's a royal pain in the behind to do damn near anything there.  How anyone could toss it into a sentence with Paris, London, Rome, etc. is simply beyond me.

I lived in Cleveland for five years, and pretty much hated every second.  That said, downtown's not bad, you can pretty much walk the streets safely and beer is cheap.  Christ, Cleveland is Vancouver compared to Detroit.

Gary is the strangest place I've ever been.  As someone else noted, it's a little like walking around on the set of "The Day After."  It's vast emptiness is sort of mesmerizing.

I grew up outside of Philly, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a group of people as collectively miserable as Philadelphians.

Well said   You or someone else should start up a thread about this growing problem.

You kind of lost all credibility when you misspelled San Francisco
