So I see no Advantage for Bode
I'll Have Another 1:47.4
Daddy Nose Best 1:48.2
Creative Cause 1:47.4
Dullahan 1:47.4
Take Charge Indy 1:48.3 |

#4 Posted: 5/3/2012 11:24:59 PM If Bode wins the derby, he may win the triple crown...........Baffert is the guy to break the streak. |

All those races were at different tracks. Roused was making a comparison between Bode and Graded stakes older horses than ran the race before the Arkansas Derby.

#8 Posted: 5/5/2012 12:57:09 AM Bodemeister has never passed a horse in his career. Never raced in a pack, always had the lead or 2nd and will not get that luxury in this race. Not sure if I want to put my money on a favorite that has never been in a situation where he is not leading and has to work around other horses. |

#11 Posted: 5/5/2012 10:06:42 AM Hate to say that last 20 kentucky derby winners, only 2 has won wire to wire (War Emblem and Go For Gin). Speed just doesn't do well in the derby, just look at Shackleford last year. This race sets up for off the pace horses like Union Rags and Dullahan and Daddy Nose Best. GL though. |
