@zoot. Anything less was wishful thinking on my part. Too bad. With a win last week and a healthy wilson this would have been 7 or so and hammer time

I hear yah man. I was hoping and praying for 14 for us
How did your Hokies look last week? I know it was only Austin Peay but hopefully they worked out the kinks from week 1.

Defense is as dominant as ive ever seen in blacksburg. Grant you thats since 2003. Offense still pathetic but dont turn it over and i think logan makes enough plays. They will only get better. 28-10 or so for my final prediction

7-3(+6.75u)

Just 2 plays thus far:

Bibendi Special:

Ohio St -17(2.2u to win 2)

Damn Ohio St. looks good with Braxton Miller at the helm. Dont underestimate how good UCF truly is and how I was left biting my finger nails at the end of the game regardless. California is traveling to the Eastern time zone for this game so they will kickoff at 9am PST which is a HUGE factor here. Simply put, Cal does not have the athletes to stop Braxton Miller. He will dominate this game with his legs. Cal is not very good to begin with, but add to the fact that Urban Meyer is a better coach than Jeff Tedford, and this has blowout written all over it. I think the Buckeyes are up by 4 TD's at half and cruise to the victory.

Virginia Tech -10:

#FADESUNSERI

That is all.

Possible plays:

Sides:
Sparty
Bama
USC

Totals:
Houston/UCLA O

Bendi,
Your hokies jumped off the board, but why are they only a 10 point Fav??  Seems like a trap with as bad as Pitt has looked.

Like the Houston/UCLA over as well - especially after watching the points roll in last week when Houston lost to La. Tech.    Any thoughts on Louisville vs. UNC.  Louisville played well against UK two weeks ago and I am not yet sold on UNC - believe they are still rebounding from the various scandals.

Good luck with the Hokies - going to lay off that one but certainly will be rooting for them.  Football in Blacksburg is truly an event to enjoy.

Bib, what is your take o TX AM?  Line opened at -14 and I was on it pretty big and now -12. I cannot find anything in the news that would change the line. Your take?
Freshman QB, but that was YE
same at -14.

You playing the Pitt TT Under which should be sitting right around 17? I honestly dont think they will get more than a fg in this game. Sunseri will have zero time to pass, has no receivers even if he does, and Graham will get smothered trying to run up the middle....

I'm so confident that Pitt will not be able to move the ball that is scares me. Sunseri sucks with pressure on him and the VT defensive line is special this year. Ray Graham will have nowhere to run and I don't know where their big plays will come from. It will take a dropped punt snap(i.e. GT, where I think they shut out GT if they dont drop that) or an offensive turnover. Ahhhh I'm trying not to hit this game too hard as a homer but I feel like I have an awesome read on this game. Noon start will mean crowd doesnt have the impact it normally would. I'm going to be playing VT, game under and Pitt TT under in some form, still waiting on the numbers though

VT secondary is really good with jumping routes and safeties this year are legit and provide great cover when the corners take a gamble. I think VT wins the field position battle and would be surprised if we didnt see Pitt with 3+ turnovers.

I cant rationalize anyone betting Pitt in this game outside of being a contrarion. Not a look ahead or let down spot for VT, noon game, struggling squad. There is nothing in favor of Pitt.

Then again I've been drinking and it's my birthday....

Only thing I've placed so far is VT -10

SMU is awful. They were an abomination against Baylor but I didnt watch the Florida/TA&M game so I dont have as good a read on this one as I like. It would be the Aggies or no play for me. Surprised by the movement myself

Louisville looks the part so far but the way they let Kentucky hang around and move the ball has me concerned. I think UNC has a good shot of winning the game. I lean UNC due to the fact they will move the ball and control some clock. Also have the athletes on the D-Line to keep pressure on Bridgewater and not let him roam in the backfield. Either way good luck

Of course I agree with you on Blacksburg as well. Not going to a game there until November

I'll be at the Cincy game at FedEx(where I've watched us in person go 0-2) and in Clemson for the big one
