Some third string magic? The normal back-up is one thing but it's hard to put $ on or against a team without knowing the game plan. Hang back play D block shots and get some more players injured after getting shelled? Or just go for it and get into a shoot out with an offensively talented club...after getting shelled. So what's really up with Backstrom? Put little jimmy and the twins on ice, get a local and get out there Nick, Minnesota needs you. I miss the grit that it took to be a goalie back when masks were optional. They'd played hurt, broken, bleeding and bruised but nothing short of trauma kept them off the ice. So go and get some "what it takes" and get back in the game. Cause if it only hurts and it ain't broke - rub some dirt on it...or them.
