Maria is at her worst today when she has a chance to go up. She crumbles like a cookie.

I think Rad has jumped Woz. Great year for the Polish princess. She just has no shot against Vika. Vika, unlike maria, has variety to go along with her power.

Maria's game is just ancient. The game nowadays is so much about movement and varierty and she just stands and tries to thump every single shot. Sure she can beat alot of players like that but eventually she is going to come up against someone who is playing cleaner more efficient tennis.

Good for rad.. one of my favorite players on tour.... such a solid player and sure very likeable. Never out of a match unless she's playing azarenka..... always gives it her all.

It was like my team was on 1 yard line and could not get aTD.  So many winners and errors.  Better serve, more winners but a loser.  Two breaks and it is over.  Well I guess on to the French.  Congrats to the Polish Princess and sorry to the Russian Bear backers.

Blah. Better player won. Even with all the unforced errors, it was probably as close a match as I could have hoped for. Still love ya though, Masha.

Yes, it was on Sharapova's racquet, she just missed too many times. She was at her worst when she had chances to take a lead.
