#5 Posted: 4/8/2012 2:09:07 AM Uh Oh, I'm thinking Hosersharks too. they seem to be "peaking" somewhat end of the season.
BUT they are definately one of the more FLAKEY teams in the league. all the talent you would ever want in front of their goalie yet sometimes they look like a bad beer league team. and THAT can change from period to period during a game |

#8 Posted: 4/8/2012 7:29:01 AM The Blues dominated them all season long, don't see them losing a series vs. them. |

Would be shocked to see +160. Wouldn't have an issue if that's the line though.

#10 Posted: 4/9/2012 1:36:50 AM TDD is a HUGE Blues fan and knows them inside out. he's also an excellent hockeycapper that doesn't let that cloud his judgement. in HIS series writeup, HE says Sharks |

#11 Posted: 4/9/2012 3:43:29 AM Are you guys nuts? HALAK took the incompetent lol Habs into the 2009 playoffs winning 4 straight (before Price got us swept) and the Conference finals in 2010 as an 8th seeded team. His offense couldn't get a sniff of goal against Philadelphia's 3rd string goaltender.
And now you're saying a contender team allowing under 2 goals per game for the entire season with a top caliber team will lose?
girl plz. Blues in 4 or 5 and the Cup. Teach the Canadiens a good lesson. Though I don't think it will make any difference.

#12 Posted: 4/9/2012 8:18:03 AM The thing about Halak is that he has a terrible glove hand. He can be beat high and he also rarely catches and/or holds a shot that strikes his mitt. However, when he is on his game, he flashes the pads as well as anyone. He'll look like he is beat, but then throws out his leg to make great saves.
I think he sits back too far in the net and is rather clumsy when the puck is in the crease. It should be interesting to see how he fares with big bodies in front of him. |

#18 Posted: 4/10/2012 5:06:23 PM If Sharks can get 1 of 2 in St Louis that is huge then it will be the same pressure Sharks have dealt with last 4-5 years as being favs all on the Blues. BOL |

#19 Posted: 4/10/2012 10:46:49 PM I took Marleau and Couture in my draft, but I'm not feelin too confident. its gonna be a tight series. SJ is solid all around. great odds.

#20 Posted: 4/11/2012 4:00:57 AM The Sharks are aweful, Joe Thornton is definately overated - the Guy is a Huge Joke and only made the Nhl because of his size and his Cousin's connections in the Nhl. The Boston Bruins thought they were getting a Star when they drafted this guy not a Tird. Thorton's skills are Beer league level at best. Sure he gets assists but that's it, he is one of the slower moving players and his shot is no better then a House league Players. Halak Stoped Two of the best players in the game (Geno and SID), no way he loses this series. BLUES IN FIVE |
