#1 Posted: 10/24/2011 11:18:37 AM That's right. Texas Rangers potential backers do yourselves a favor tonight, save yourselves the aggrevation and wager your funds on the MNF game instead because Carpenter and the St. Louis Cardinals are a definite L-O-C-K to take a commanding 3-2 series lead with a win in tonight's pivotol game 5 of this year's World Series. If you think C. J. Wilson is even going to come close to duplicating Derek Holland's two-hit pitching performance against the Cardinals last night, think again. If you think Albert Pujols is going to be held hitless, think again. In fact if you even think that everyone in the Cards batting order will be held hitless, except for LB, think again. It simply won't happen---period! Meanwhile the Texas batting order, which has basically gone sour except for Saturday's explosion, has encountered bigger problems as game 5 approaches this evening. Their hottest hitter going into last night's game has also gone sour. 'Yo' Adrian Beltre went a sparkling 0-4 at the dish last night and that's very bad news from a Ranger's outlook. When you add in that slugger Josh Hamilton has a sore pinky finger which has enabled him to falter at the plate in key situations, not to mention on two separate ones last night when he had a runner in scoring position (went a paltry 0-4 ho-hum) to conclude the night, lets just say the Rangers attack will have major, major problems tonight trying to hit the Cards ace of the staff, Carpenter. No, Texas backers do yourselves a bigtime favor with your wagering money tonight and try your luck at the Monday Night football game because your chance for success will be much, much greater. Believe me when I provide you with this winning advice. Of course now I wouldn't imagine you Ranger fans would want to risk betting your coin on the visiting Cards, even if it is L-O-C-K tight money in your pocket. Afterall you know what they say: "once a true fan, always a true fan."
St. Louis Cardinals = Definite Game 5 L-O-C-K!!!

#2 Posted: 10/24/2011 11:22:10 AM Spelling errors aside, I wasn't aware one's heading was limited in words or characters for that matter. In any case, I do apologize for the confusion in the heading to this thread. Here is what it should have read:
Cardinal Backers Enjoy Your Winnings Tonight While Rangers Backers Do Yourselves a Favor & Bet The MNF Game Instead

#10 Posted: 10/24/2011 2:37:14 PM Pinball, you have got big balls. There are a lot of new forumers who come on here making bold statements, but for a veteran to put your behind on the line calling the Cards tonight, and the World Series, last week takes big kahunas
Not sure you're gonna win, but I give you credit puttin your rep on the line calling LOCKS |

Wilson just bad in the playoff, but he might have one of hell game of his life( watch Holland yesterday). Wilson is good pitcher and have a lot of trouble in playoff( last year too). Carpenter is light out in the playoff, but he just a shitty pitcher in the season. You can't tell with one is better.

#24 Posted: 10/25/2011 1:21:09 AM This is why I feel like throwing up when someone makes a thread like this and I have money on that game that they claim is a "lock." Really man? You've been on this site since 2009, did you honestly make this thread because you had a wager on the Rangers and were pulling a reverse jinx? Good grief.
