Hey guys i want to back test a baseball system looking at teams that play 5 overs or unders in a row and then taking them the next 4 games under or over. I am willing to backtest this but do not know a site to get this information. If someone has also tried this system out let me know please and thankyou.

The system will fail if you use Martingale, the longest streaks for O/U in baseball are longer than 9 games.

i didnt want to use it as a martingale ... i wanted to see if you only chased games 6 - 10 how that howd work out and see if you can produce positive numbers.

Check out the Angels last year 13 overs in a row then later on 10 unders in a row.  Proably best to start after 7 or 8, less plays but should be safer.

Test the same result.... if a team goes over 5 or 6 in a row how often do they go under the next four or vice versa.  If you want help I would be willing to check some of the teams.

i noticed that this system may not work as well for baseball just in looking at perliminary numbers... what i did see is a trend in after a streak of four or more overs or under. .. once it ends chase the over or under for four games .... i have not checked it with other numbers or streaks size i will intend to do that later

Payday,

I may have found something tonight.  Works for last year.  Modified chase system after a sweep.  Tested for AL only last year with a result of 122-3 with a three game chase.  Going to start a new thread.

Payday,

I started checking Overs/Unders by looking at 5 in a row and then chasing either the same or opposite results last night for 2009.  It was not looking very good.  It started something like 17-4 with a four game chase....  We may want to look into it like the sweep chase I am looking into.  For example if a team has all overs or unders during a home series or away series chase the same or opp result the next time the play a home or away series... Just a thought.  I will probably check this out over the weekend and let you know.
