maholm 4-1 9 career starts against cubs 7.06 era
last season against the cubs he went 4 innings which he gave up 7 runs on 7 hits
dempster 2-0 three starts last season---shut pitt in a 5 hitter last september---6-7 with 5.46 era in 42 career appearances
17 as a starter 3-0 mark with a 3.73era through 5 starts in this series
over the past 2 seasons
cubs won 10-4 last season 5-1 @ pnc park & won 15 of last 19 between them 8 of last 9 @ pnc park
