Well I think everyone talked me into it. I will make a wager on LSU as I have it at -20.

I third that notion about something potentially being up here.

I want to unload on LSU as I see no way for the defense to stop LSU from rushing for 300+ yards and I see no way for the offense to score more than 10-13 points tops.

Or is it just that easy?

I seriously LOLed when I read that!!!

I think you know that I am far from an Auburn hater  I don't hate any team.  I've bet on Auburn and would do so again in the blink of an eye if I thought it was the right side.  I "Max Bet" Auburn in the national championship game, and prior to their bowl game last season I think it was you and a couple of other Auburn posters who didn't think they would cover against Virginia.  I really liked Auburn a lot in that game.  I think some of the Auburn guys finally came around before kickoff, but initially they weren't as sold on Auburn as I was from the outset.

From a fan perspective I realize these are not good times for Auburn fans, so they might be a little more sensitive to a joke than they might otherwise be, but it's only a joke.  I didn't poison the trees, and what's done is done.  Nobody can change it.  It's really no different than me cracking a black joke, a white joke, or a Hispanic joke.  It's just a joke.

I posted it in JW's thread because prior to the season I think we were the only two on Covers that were predicting stormy waters for the good-ship Chizik.  We had some posters were putting down future bets on Auburn to win the SEC West and such.  So that was essentially the context of the joke.

The first step for Auburn is recognizing they have some serious issues, and those issues start at the top with Chizik.  I think it is now abundantly clear that Chizik is not the answer down on the Plains, and that whoever is calling the shots over there needs to clean house.  Then the new coaching staff needs to get a JUCO QB on campus ASAP.  If they do that hopefully Auburn can be relevant again, and perhaps we can have competitive Iron Bowls again.  Until drastic changes take place over there, Auburn and their fans will be the targets of some good-natured ribbing.  But as for now I'm enjoying the gambling gift that keeps on giving . . . Auburn.

Hence the "", jimmy

I was not expecting Auburn to win the SEC West, or even compete for it. But I did expect Auburn not to be the bottom dweller in the West.

The other play here is Auburn under.  Probably around 17.  They will not score...

Watch out for an AUBURN bias from the Refs this week. They do it everytime LSU plays at Auburn.

It would take the most blatant fix you can find to keep this within the number..

They are going to have to call holding on LSU to back them up in 3rd and 25's all night and then hit them with P.I's on the other side but Auburn doesn't throw it further than 6 yards with the Addazio offense.

What makes me nervous is this young lsu qb playing first game in hostile environment. Lsu will play it conservative as hell.
