#1 Posted: 10/6/2012 1:11:54 PM ive noticed on alot of closers they have garbage on their hats that they rub while pitching. The two ive noticed were on medlen and balfour. Im pretty sure that stuff isnt allowed so why dont teams call them out on it? |

#3 Posted: 10/6/2012 3:19:36 PM If the stuff you're talking about is white, then it's probably rosin...which pitchers are allowed.

#5 Posted: 10/6/2012 3:26:15 PM It's definitely rosin... There are quite a few pitchers out there who are superstitious and refuse to wash their hats, you see it with players and their helmets too look at Manny Rameriez when he used to be in the league |

#7 Posted: 10/6/2012 3:40:28 PM its dirt at balfour hat as far as i know, its wear and tear, and before he pitch he put his finger at the hat, then he lap it first at his shirt, so it doesnt affect his pitches. |
