#27 Posted: 4/19/2011 1:10:35 PM PureButta, I'm sorry about having to go against your Blackhawks. The team I really would have liked to have played late Sunday afternoon was Nashville but the 5:00 Central starting time prevented me from playing them, since the Wash-NY game hadn't ended yet. Once that game was over, there were three games left on the board: two NBA games (which I'm not that great at) and the Chicago-Vancouver game. In the end, I decided to take the team with the best record in the NHL over a team that, one week before, couldn't earn a point in a critical home game against Detroit when they really needed it. Having said that, Chicago played pretty well and probably deserved to win the game.

Best of luck to you today, my friend! |

My ppost was to tell him that if he wanted to keep copying my picks; when I was in that position, that it would do him any good because of the tie breaker. I didn't know if he knew that or not. What the hell am I defending myself to a winner like you anyway. Beat it. |

isn't it interesting that your being strategically forced to play that game, it came down in your favor with less than 13 minutes left in the game. excellent strategy to close out. it looks as though it wasn't even close, as you have been drinking for three days now without anyone else having crossed the finish line, but it took 87 days of perseverance and more-than-just-luck to get there. there were some pretty good cappers right on your heels waiting for a collapse, like an 0-4 day or something. way to hang in there. |
