What you are describing is called Martingale. You would bet to win the 150 you lost plus the 100 you wanted to win each chase. As you can see the dollar amounts would escalate very quickly, especially if you had to chase to a C bet. Labouchere money management limits the risk. You may want to google search it. This is why I didn`t think PHO was a play...would rather make money than lose money. Also a good idea to look ahead when starting the 3 gamer. If they play Vancouver and Detroit games 2 and 3, might make sense to stay away. Anything can happen in NHL but not something I`d be confident Martingaling.
