as far as the Lions go
They are only gonna get better and better, Get used to seeing them in the playoffs for the next 8 or 9 years
The Packers still own that division however
the Bears = a no heart QB and a wide reciever that is on the down side of his career already, add to that the fact that the defense is aging, you will see high scoring games where the BEARS WILL LOSE.
The facts say otherwise. Played in every game and averaged more yards per catch than any year he was a starter. Eighty plus receptions and 6 TD's on a struggling offensive team like Miami isn't too shabby. Now he's reunited with his old running mate which should improve the passing game, not to mention the aquistion of Bush.
You had no legit reason to make that staement. |

#29 Posted: 6/29/2012 11:05:54 PM I think the Bears picked up some good football talent in free agency. Here are my concerns:
1. I don't like their offensive line and that means Cutler will not be protected. You see what happens when he is hurt and out. Any offensive linemen in the draft? = 0
2. With the starting unit health(Cutler & Forte) the offense was good. So why a new OC?
3. If you believe locker room chemistry is important, Marshall is a virus. I think he has been diagnosed bi-polar.
I think you can take them to the bank early, but I think they fad again with injury and aging problems.
Just my 2 cents. No hate mail please.

You're points are well taken. That O line problem needed more off season attention then it got.
Marshall does have a stigma about him, however, he apparently likes Cutler as they have hooked up successfully in the past. So if da Bears can create some kind of protection for their QB, he should be the wideout they've been looking for. The Colts pass rush is still formidable, so week 1 will be a great test and indicator.

I'm a dolphins fan and Brandon Marshall is not worth it. Too many big drops and diva problems.
So you would rather have the Dolphins reciever corp without Marshall than with him? I don't think so. |

Chargers traded their best receiver Vincent Jackson and many good players in the past. Raiders and Cheifs have rookie head coaches. Broncos have both elite QB and veteran head coach. |

If we can keep Leshoure healthy and on the right track after his two game suspension we are going to be tough to beat. Need a running game though. This team will play a lot smarter than they did last year you can bet that Schwartz will demand that right from training camp. Can't wait till that game against the 49ers. Obviously a second half game so if they don't televise that game there is something hugely wrong with the networks. The Lions D will be just fine and it is going to be a dog fight between GB, BEARS, LIONS. |
