#6 Posted: 4/14/2012 2:14:11 PM memento and la confidential were two of the all time great movies. the first two on the list were not nearly as popular here but both good though not on the same level. they are definitely worth seeing. the king's speech was kind of boring but a well made movie.

American History X is amazing.
The only thing I don't like is the guy they casted as the black dude in the prison who makes Edward Norton see the light. Thats the only thing I dislike about that movie. |

#15 Posted: 4/19/2012 1:29:44 PM animal kingdom was friggin awful so slow. Martin Scorsese should be insulted that the cover says "Australian answer to goodfellas". |

definate as with most Guy Ritchie movies
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is classic. you can add Jack Nicholson movies The Last Detail, Chinatown, The Shining, The Two Jakes (Chinatown sequel), and his 1978 western / comedy Going South with Mary Steenburgen, Christopher Lloyd, John Belushi, Danny DeVito and Veronica Cartwright as "Hermine". VERY under-rated Nicholson movie that's non-stop hilarious

definately a fun movie. David Warner, who was also "Sark" the "Master Control Program" in the original Tron, as "Evil" was excellent as was Ian Holm as Napoleon. great cameos by most of the Monty Python crew throughout the movie BUT, in the end the seven, "Time Bandit" dwarf's really steal the show.
IF you liked Time Bandits, you might want to also check out Terry Gilliams other fantasy The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988). with Robin Williams (listed as "Ray D. Tutto") as King of the Moon. worth watching just for his scenes with are non-stop hilarious. |
