The U getting 13?  That is a MORTAL lock!  ND has beaten Navy (dog meat team) by 30, Purdue by 3 in home opener, Michigan by 7(with the worst qb in FBS) and MSU (who lost 7 starters on offense, including Cousins who was a stud).

I will say this ND has a great front 7, but their secondary is mediocre to say the least.  If The U can protect Morris, he'll have a field day if "Mr. Arm Punt" himself (D Rob) could put up 138 yards on that secondary.

Where is the "u" going to find a defense between now and Saturday? The only team they allowed less than 32 points to was powerhouse Bethune Cookman. Meanwhile ND has allowed 9 ppg avg.
I'll grant you 13 points is a little steep but I expect this to come down to a more realistic 11-11' by game time.

Notre Dame's Front 4 is arguably the best in the country, yes, it as good as Alabama and LSU's.

Nix, Tuitt, Day, Moore and Shembo will all be playing on Sundays.

The "U" is going to find it hard to move the ball, ND will be rested and ready to bring a beatdown to the Windy City.

I like the Irish as the play here.

not sure what a mortal lock is....does that mean it can be killed? I would much rather you have said, it's an immortal, godlike lock....this way it would have been guaranteed to survive.

Not crazy about mortal locks.....and I think ND wins, IMO of course.
