#10 Posted: 10/22/2012 1:58:20 PM Twist of Cain has been a great home play all season. I don't see a reason to go against him now

#11 Posted: 10/22/2012 2:03:07 PM Tough game tonight, both good starters but i think the difference will be that Lohse not as strong away from home.Giants supporters will really stand behind all nine innings.
So i´ll take SF/Over
BOL to all

#12 Posted: 10/22/2012 2:11:23 PM Like the Cards and the Under...Stl comes through like they always seem to at the last minute. Also don't like how Cain has looked the past couple of weeks.
SF is something like 0-6 or 0-7 their last seven Game 7's I think....does it continue?
Should be a great game either way. |

#15 Posted: 10/22/2012 5:43:59 PM Cards play clutch ball, and from the stats wip\era lean towards cards.
both teams equally have a chance in winning tonight, going with the Cards,
hey if it does just think you will have the 2 most dangerous cities in America playing for 1st place. |

#16 Posted: 10/22/2012 6:14:23 PM Maybe it's the game SE7EN factor but this one seems like a tricky one
to call. I haven't dug very deep or even seen a lineup card yet but
after quickly looking over a matchup page and reading a couple previews
my initial lean would be a hotter GIANTS team thats in their home park
with their beast on the bump.
I really like Cain's numbers at home this year and conversely Loshe
drops off a bit on the road. Also STL did win 3-1 the last time these
two starters went H2H but lets be honest it wasn't Loshe's sharpest
outing and he was walking on eggshells several times and narrowly
escaped getting touched up for a crooked number in a few different
innings.
And even though he only gave up the single run his control was off so
bad he walked 5 and needed 108 pitches to get through 5 and 2/3 innings
and didn't even qualify for a quality start.
Also I keep seeing references to STL winning 6 straight winner take
all games and SF being 0-5 in game sevens but I don't think that all
that relative here with different players, parks, pitchers ect. And on top
of that SF has been great with their back to the wall in these playoffs
winning 3 in a row against CIN to win that series and now game 5 in STL
and game 6 at home to force tonights game 7.
Gonna wait on it for a bit but if it were 5 minutes to first pitch I
think I'm going with SFG ML and then maybe the U 7. Both of these
offenses are capable of putting up 7 themselves on any given night but
we have two solid pitchers, two pens in decent form and a pitchers park.
Plus the fact that it's all hands deck and no reason to hold anyone or
anything back. |

#17 Posted: 10/22/2012 6:21:21 PM STL win game 7
Tonight both starting pitchers will have a short leash. No big innings. Tonight every pitcher is available, all starters are now relievers. Giants ( Cain, Bumgardner, Lincecum, and Zito) all will be used. Cardinals (Lohse, Westbrook, Wainright, Lynn, Garcia, Boggs< Mott) Will be used. Advantage Cardinals bull pen Rematch 2006 World series (Tigers vs. Cardinals) |

#18 Posted: 10/22/2012 6:44:45 PM | St. Louis: | - Over is 6-2 in STL last 8 games following a loss.
- Over is 10-4 in STL last 14 playoff games.
- STL are 19-9 in their last 28 overall.
| | San Francisco: | - Over is 10-1 in SF last 11 playoff home games.
- Over is 23-6-1 in SF last 30 home games.
- Over is 9-3 in SF last 12 Mon. games.
I honestly like the under for the above mentioned reasons (sharp SP's, pitchers park, all the pitching depth in play tonight), but boy those trends are scary with that low 6.5 number. Guess that's why they call it gambling!

#20 Posted: 10/22/2012 7:45:21 PM Game 7's tend to be low scoring games with all the emotional stress from both sides realizing this may be the last game of their season. To much thinking involved, as opposed to being relaxed and just playing naturally.
Pitching duel tonight and no squad has been very impressive run production wise the entire playoffs. The emphasis we've heard thru-out this playoff season has been on slumping bats and saolid pitching.
UNDER !! + ALT RL CARDS + 2.5 !!!!!!

#21 Posted: 10/22/2012 7:45:47 PM People have a short memory, remeber last year in elimination games what the Cards did. I think they tanked the last 2 games on purpose just to have a agame 7. All kidding aside, the Cards are a hard team to kill, SF will have to play there best ball to win, I think Lohse has the advantage in pitching, but ultimately, It will come down to the bullpens. Adv Cards.
St. Louis +25 & Over 6.6. GL
