I'm wanting to bet on 12 teams 50 each and 2 3team parlay 50 each and 1 3team parlay for 200.  I got 14 teams and would love advice on if I'm betting correctly and what you all think about the teams I got picked so far.  This is my first year of betting and I'm 200 down but getting better each week.  Thanks for any and all advice.  I got thick skin so don't worry about being nice.

Western Michigan

UL Monroe

UL Lafayette

Clemson

Georgia Tech

Oregon

Nevada

Washington

East Carolina

Northwestern

Utah State

Kansas State

Tulsa

Boise State

Not decided yet on who for parlays.

1st off pistol welcome to covers

2ndly i'd get rid of Clemson and georgia Tech from your list of 14

3rdly you mentioned betting correctly. IMO as long as you manage your money/don't bet more than you can afford to lose you're gambling correctly. The picks you make are because you like them. there's no 1 way to bet

Hope i helped bro don't be a stranger

Have u kept track of ur picks this year? If so, I'd love to know what hour record is picking favorites? I'd bet it's below .500. My advice would be to take more dogs.

Agree with what packers1993 said, come up with a money strategy and stick with it. Do your analysis and stick to your picks. NEver bet more games once u are down or if u are having a bad day.

@Big_Red_Rocket @offyspicks Thanks for confirming utah state.

@packers1992 Georgia Tech does worry me, but Clemson has been money for me so far.  Out of curiousity why not Clemson? and thanks for the advice.

@abizzo24 I've just recenctly started keeping some records without betting so blindly.  My record is below .500 YTD but the last 3 weeks has been close or over.  Also, had a really good day 2 weeks ago put me 500 to the good.  Should I consider raising bets if I start hitting? And stupid Arizona miss last week made me miss out on my big parlay.  Would have put me up to 1400 to the good for the year if I would have hit.

My money strategy has been betting a lot of games 30+ with low amounts to cover parlays and using parlay to make money.  I'm now seeing that was retarded (according to my books) and that I would do better with less teams that I confortable with.

well pistol my thinking is we know clemson can score but NC State can score as well. Clemson could put up 40 and Nc State can get 24-27 as well. If clemson's been money for ya stick with em ride the hot team

hope i helped

I think u should stick to the same amount u have been betting. Fluctuating the amount can get u in trouble. Personally I'm not a parlay guy. I bet 2-8 games a Saturday. Games I really like. It's hard enough to win 1 game let alone trying to hit a parlay IMO. I'm a believer that quality us better than quantity

for someone who just started betting you are betting way too many game. just stick to a few games a week and bet a consistent amount and if you start winning you can raise your bets, but only by a little bit.

@packers1992 Yeah your advice is most helpful, and I'll definitely be taking all of it into consideration when I place my bets tomorrow.

@abizzo24 I'm definitely seeing the quality is better than quantity.  I'm pretty risk adverse is the reason I'm probably so fond of parlays.  Thanks for the advice.  It is most definitely useful.

@monkeyballz Kick behind handle.  What would you suggest as far how many games to take a week?

put $50 each  on 3 moneyline parlays.  Do 4-6 teams on each one and make sure these teams are favored by 10-14 points.

I think Tulane will cover against East Carolina.  Other than that I don't have a big problem with any of your plays.

Air Force.  The altitude will kill Hawaii and they can not stop the run, see NV, Fresno St., Boise St., SDST, USC, BYU, etc.  Tomorrow will be no different even with a different starting qb.

Alright, guys I've decided on my picks thus far.  Might make one or two small changes in the morning but I'm pretty set on these.

Western Michigan, Clemson, Oregon, Nevada, East Carolina, Northwestern, Utah State Kansas State, Boise State, Arizona State, Nebraska, Purdue.

Utah State big bet.

Giving Arizona a redemption bet for beating me out of so bad last week.

Two parlays 1st Northwestern, Western Michigan, Oregon 2nd Kansas State, Utah State, Clemson.

Thoughts? and GL everyone.
