if youre talking about in a playoff scenario hawks are 6th with 99 points. preds are 4th with 102. Please explain the scenario where wings would be playing in chicago. Chicago would have to get 3 points today to tie nashville and take the lead for 4th. Which if possible would still leave detroit at 101 and chicago would then be ahead of them. However chicago will only have 101 but they will win the tie breaker over detroit because one of the games detroit won went to OT.
So heres what can happen
Detroit win, nash win - same as it is now
detroit win nash lose - det 4th, nash 5th
both lose - nash 4th, chi 5th, det 6th
nash win, det loss - nash 4th, chi 5th, det 6th.
I really hope detroit loses today - we own the pacific. 14-5-1 against them this year.
