#52 Posted: 8/4/2012 11:30:46 AM Wow strange game between USA / Lithuania...I don't see how the USA can give up that many points. They should only be giving up 60 points a game imo. |

#56 Posted: 8/4/2012 1:39:54 PM Great Britain will beat China on Monday, so tread lightly against the boomers. I am taking Australia because of their ability to shoot well from beyond the arc. Australia started this tourney slow, and their guard play is better (GB 16 TO per game). Everyone just saw GB only lose to Spain by a point last game. Deng is leading the tourney in minutes played (38 per game), when does fatigue set in? I am taking the Aussie 3's vs GB turnovers. |

Do you think home court counts for anything here with GB? I have not been watching enough to know if the Brit fans show up or not... Though about GB +3 for the 1H with all of the emotion |

#58 Posted: 8/4/2012 2:39:58 PM This is a corporate event. The "home crowd" means little to nothing. GB averages about 29 points in the first half. I am waiting till GB plays China for the sneak attack. Just imagine if GB loses today by double digits, Mondays game will be a pick 'em. A GB win today could force books to make them a fave vs China.
Sorry CoverLane, I didn't mean to highjack your thread. |

#60 Posted: 8/6/2012 8:07:13 PM wasn't able to post plays today but I made out very well...
Had australia +7 and ML +150, tunisia + +100, gb -9.5 +100. had to go to work so I missed the rest of the games but all my leans would have hit. I'm kicking myself for not making a parlay today.
Looking forward to the elimination matches! |
