You could be right , it makes sense ... But Petersen plays so many backups during the season . when you start looking down the defense you will see players that got a little burn the last few seasons... I think the Broncos will just reload ... If they had a harder schedule than yeah I would have them out of the TOP 25 ... but I see 10-2 or better , and that should land them in the Top 18.

very nice Points Brother ... BOL this season

25  TCU   8-4   Love the move into the BIG12... Should have been there from the start. Garry Patterson is one of my TOP 5 coaches in the country. I really will be pulling for them to knock off Big boys Oklahoma and Texas... Horned Frogs won't win the BIG 12 this season , but they will soon ... Tougher games include at Baylor,vs Tech,at Oklahoma St, at WVA,vs K St, at Texas, vs Oklahoma .. Anything better than 3-4 in those games would have TCU in my Top 18

Texas at #8?  That's high given their quarterback situation is still is complete disaster.  Good work regardless, looking forward to your picks this up coming season.

Guys Wisky will not be as good as they have been!  Quarterback play will drop off.  I expect a 8-4 season With potential to win 9 games!  Big Ten is deep this season with Iowa coming back Northwestern good for an upset win or two.  Michigan back OSU going to be tough.  Nebraska tough!  MSU tough.  Big ten is going to beat up on each other this year with alot of teams being good but not GREAT!  I think big ten winner from each division will have 2 losses potentially in conference play!

Take a look at Wisconsin's schedule ... easiest one in the BIG 10 ???

Maybe Wisky does go 10-2, not saying that won't happen .. but do NOT look for a Big drop off ...

Sure O'Brien does not bring what Wilson did to the table, but he does have exp. and has plenty to work with

Love that Over 7.5 wins at -110... already up to -165 on 5 dimes

according to my numbers 7-5 or worse only happens around 17% of the time

I think the FR QB will be fine ... very nice system in place ..plenty of weapons including some very solid backs

Right outside MY Current Final Regular season Top 25 (in No Order)

Rutgers 9-3/8-4      My Pick to win the BIG East .. The Defense will once again be the Best in the Conference .. QB play should be much improved .. Way too much is being made of Schiano leaving ... Flood has been there and should keep things going in the right direction

Michigan  7-5/8-4       Might be the most overhyped squad in the country ( pretty close with Oklahoma and Florida St. )  Plenty of Talent on the roster and Hoke worked magic last season finishing 11-2.  See them losing to both Alabama and Notre Dame , while going 5-3 in BIG 10 Play .

Kansas St.   7-5/8-4   Huge Fan of Bill Snyder ( one of my all-time Favs)  the BIG12 schedule with 5 road games  anything better than 2-3 in those would shock me, that being said 0-5 could happen ..Collin Klien is fun to watch . LB Arthur Brown leads a very good Core ...

Louisville 8-4      Team will not be as good as their record . IF they win the BIG East more than likely I will be fading them fast in a BCS Bowl . Charlie Strong has done a great job rebuilding the program . BIG Championship might come down to the last game of the season at Rutgers.... Tougher games include vs North Carolina, at So Miss,at Pitt, vs USF, vs Cinn., at Cuse , at Rutgers

BYU   8-4           Love rooting for them every year . So Glad Heaps is gone and we will see Riley Nelson start the season at QB. Schedule is loaded with 3 games vs PAC12 foes, and 3 tough road games at Boise St., Notre Dame , and Ga Tech .

Mississippi St 8-4/7-5     Talent wise they are in my Top 18.  The schedule is not that bad by SEC Standards with 2 of the road games at UK, and Ole Miss ... The OOC schedule is a joke ... But these are gonna be tough Auburn, Tennessee,at Bama, A&M, at LSU,Arkansas ...anything better than 2-4 in those and The Bulldogs finish as a Top 25 squad.

Georgia Tech    8-4      So excited to see the big Matchup week 1 at Va Tech .. The O-Line is going to be very good .  Could see the offense being it's best since Johnson got here .  The defense returns 7 of the top 9 Tacklers .  tougher games include at va tech, UVA, Miami, at Clemson , BYU,at NC, at Georgia

Stanford  7-5/6-6    how far will they step back without Luck ?  The defense looks great on paper .. Something tells me they go 1-5 on the road this season !!!

Double,

Did you look at Michigan's ATS last season?  In my humble opinion it would be wise to bet them again considering vegas and public has no idea what the hell to expect HAHA!  7-5 is harsh 8-4 sounds alot better.  I really dont think your considerations take into account how strong michigan is at key positions!  I really dont think anyone is considering that and just want to say last year was a fluke!  Whatever though I'm tired of talking and would love the play to speak for itself!  Dont be surprised if Michigans only loss is to BAMA!  I know the schedule says otherwise but they do have the depth for that!

Michigan, Oklahoma and Florida State are not overrated.

Due to their schedule, Michigan probably won't duplicate their record from a year ago, but the Legends division will probably come down to the winner of the Michigan/Michigan State game on October 20th in Ann Arbor, and Michigan has a great shot to win that game.

Florida State is definitely not underrated. I think that team lacks some discipline and some offensive playmakers, but the are built with top-tier, SEC-like talent in the trenches. Moreover, there is really no one in the ACC to challenge them. Clemson will get beat by DD in Tallahassee. And even if they lose to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and the Gators at the end of the season, that won't stop them from playing for the ACC championship (which they'll probably win in what will be essentially a home game for them).

Do I think they will play for they national championship??? No I don't. But they are still a legitimate top 5 team IMO.

With respect to Oklahoma, it really depends on what you mean by overrated. Although it is difficult to see who on their schedule they'd lose to (they'll probably be favored in every game they play), even if they lose a couple, they'll still be ranked in the top 10. Given that this is a national championship or bust type of a season for Oklahoma, if they did drop a couple of games, that would be somewhat of an underachievement. Personally I don't see them losing more than 1 game.

couldnt disagree with the top 25 more.okstate will not be the team we all seen the last 2 years. You dont replace a qb wr combo like that.  I cant see both lsu and bama losing 2 each   Texas being that high  no way    not with the qb situation down in Austin. I didnt see enough from them last year to even have them preseason top 25  Boise state losing moore and martin with a tough game week 1   i can see them losing 3 or 4 just becasue of inexperience at qb. Tennesse shows promise but not in the sec  and no Georgia idk   alot of wholes in this top 25

nothing would shock me this season when it comes to Michigan ...

over in my Point Spread ratings top 40 they are in my Top 13...

I could easily be wrong on how many games they win ... I would not bet the Under on season wins for that reason ... Just my read and current prediction is they win no more than 9 games ,  and 8-4/7-5 sounds about right ....

yea you are likely right Brother ...FSU and Oklahoma have top 5 talent ...

The Noles schedule sets up nicely for a run to the ACC Championship .. I Bet Clemson at 5-1 way too early , before the season starts I see that going up to at least 6-1.

I don't trust Oklahoma ... I have some ??? about the WR's and wondering If they don't lose to Texas they drop one or 2 more along the way

Michigan is a wait and see for me ... Really looking forward to the opener vs Bama ... To be honest I will be rooting for Michigan to win straight up since I have no Futures involving the Tide

Excellent Post Brother Jimmy

It's excellent to disagree Brother

Oklahoma St. replaced a very good QB/WR combo a few years ago and did not slip ... anything worse than 8-4 would surprise me

Boise St . might not be as good , but with that schedule 10-2 ?? like I keep saying Boise St is 33-2 with first year starting QB's ...most people see them dropping 3 of 4 , and bc of that they will likely bounce back ATS

Georgia will be good , but i think they will drop at least 3 in SEC play ... maybe starting with at Missouri week 2

Thanks for stopping by Brother

Been following you closely last couple year. I won a bunch of money on your Notre Dame under season wins last year.

Already jumped large on your Ok St., Wisc, and medium play on Rutgers. When are you gonna start putting out bets that you "locked in" at the sportsbook? Normally you have a long post with all your pre-season bets including Heisman hopefuls ect. Keep up the good work.

Hopefully we are right about Rutgers .. They need to pick a QB and stick with him... my Biggest concern is running the ball , 2.8, and 2.7 YPC the last 2 years is not gonna cut it ..

Michigan will have it's hands full in the BIG10... everyone will be gunning for them this season as I have seen so many publications + writers picking them to win the Conference

Oklahoma St . might need some time to get things rolling ., but hopefully they can escape Arizona with a W, and things will start to click .. still though could see them relying on the running game more this season... NICE stable of backs

Oklahoma looks really good on paper ... BIG12 looks really tough this season (excluding Kansas) I predict the Sooners will lose 2+ in Conf. play ...

Thanks for dropping by Brother

nice work on that Irish Under

Check out my Futures thread in this forum ... All my bets are locked in ... will not have too many more ...

Only heisman bets I have made so far are Tyler Wilson at 30-1 and Tyler Bray at 130-1.... not gonna tie too much Money up in these this season ... barkley is only +350 and has a excellent chance at winning it
