Monte has had problems with option/spread offenses at TN and at USC.  He may have been effective with the Tampa 2 against pro style teams but look for GT to score and hold the ball.  USC can score 50 if they come to play, if not, GT will cover.  Not a great bet on either team, the over is probably the better bet, many teams score quickly against Teach because the defense gives up big plays and rarely gets much of a pass rush.

UNDER 63 1/2   SC has the speed and a month to prepare for this offense, triple option offenses dont do very well in bowlgames when teams have time to rpactice against it.  With barkley out SC will keep it simple for the SC qb which makes it simpler for the GT defense.

It must be frustrating to not know what I am talking about. I am sure it is equally frustrating when this approach continues to win.

Wow!  Kiffin is actually employed as a HC?  He gets paid for this?  That is the worst example of a football team I have seen this bowl season.  How can they have recruiting classes in the Top 25 and not be able to play football at this time of the year?  Everyone GT has played this season has run through, and over, this GT defense.  Middle TN put up over 50 on them, UNC did too, Georgia had their offensive starters on the bench before the end of the 3rd and had 42 points up.  A joke about their defense is Ga. Tech's school colors are now navy and warm butter.

I don't know who on the Board of Trustees makes these decisions, but USC needs a new coach.  Pre-season #1.....right.  And those fools make decisions about rankings all year long.

3rd quarter - I am still waiting for all those USC points predicted by all the squares on this site.  Still may happen but I am not impressed with USC.   Looks like a bunch of front running quitters coached by an incompetent scumbag.  As predicted

Texas is not too far behind Kiffin but at least they show up in bowl games

Texas showed up and won for me.  This team never had a chance with Kiffin.  He never was qualified for this job, or Tennessee for that matter, let alone the Raiders.

Low scoring, turnover type game for GT - as predicted.

Care to expand on this comment with the 4th q score 28- 7 for GT?

Yes, they looked really prepared for the GT triple option.
