Could be some possible upsets in there, liked what I saw from NMState in their tourney, Davidson proved they could play with the big boys beating Kansas, Wisky plays well in the tourney but intrigued by Montana, not real sold on Gtown this year but its been killing me all year lol
I think Indiana beats NMSU. Not interested in the line, though. I think its going to be pretty close.
I think Davidson beats Louisville. Its either that or its going to be a 15 point lead at the half. I just think Louisville peaked a little early and the time off should hurt a little. As we all know, Davidson can play.
Wisconsin is just too fundamentally sound to lose to Montana.
Belmont is going to give GT all it can handle. I will be hitting Belmont. Not going to get a good line, though.
One team who everyone is high on and I am not is Memphis. I dont think this is the best matchup for them.

#28 Posted: 3/11/2012 10:28:44 PM HOOSIERS got unlucky to be in Kentuckys bracket, The whole year they played that damn wafford buzzer beater. talk about billboard material, that garbage has festered all season and I think they will dominate the hoosiers if they play. also IU has no veteran guards or anyone with tourney experience.
OHIO ST has some of the worst shot selection of any team. they are basically an nba team. everyone is capable of getting their own shot. they are not going to the final 4 because they do not play very good team basketball.

#30 Posted: 3/11/2012 11:07:38 PM Syracuse has the easiest bracket, in my opinion. New Mexico St. May just be the Cinderella this year. Marquette and Louisville will be dangerous. I do not think Mi. St. Gets out this region. |

Mizzou plays wreckless and undisciplined street ball type at a fast paced, which would give UF a chance to outshoot them and run with Beal, Boynton and Murphy. I think UF will simply outscore UVA unless they have a dynamic performance from that Mike Scott guy.
I'm guessing you havent seen Mizzou play this year.

#37 Posted: 3/12/2012 3:41:38 PM S.fla has a very solid defense, teams score 20 pts below their season avg aganist them... if the limit a pac 12 scoring by 20 pts, that under would he the lock of the century. Watching pac 12 games was better than taking a ambien. I could see the being a 60-45 type game, in other words only worth watching if you have money on it or looking to get put to sleep |

#38 Posted: 3/12/2012 3:46:42 PM RJSizz - good to see you posting buddy. Lots of similar thoughts. Texas can be dangerous (emphasis on "can"), think UVA takes out Florida, no interested in the LBSU kool aid everyone is drinking, and think STL handles Memphis and challenges Mich St |

#41 Posted: 3/12/2012 9:17:31 PM Col State has everything you need to beat Murray State and they have already played a monster schedule. This should be nothing new to them.

#44 Posted: 3/12/2012 10:12:42 PM i feel like a sucker for drooling, jumping all over baylor -7.5 vs south dakota state and the over 140 as well. I just see a different kind of athlete vs a bunch of kids who could be in the movie "hoosiers". Yeah they can shoot and South Dakota St does have a potential pro in Wolters but this is basically Baylor vs Northwestern round 2 IMO. One of those type of games that could get ugly quick if Baylor jumps all over them and then just pressures the 3 point line.
Like the UVA lean, pick. Your style, for sure. Gosh they have been awful of late, but that is reflected in the 3.5 point line, right?
Murray State might of opened at 1.5, but that # came and went in minutes, been at 3.5 or 4 all day in various spots. Colorado St and Murrray St actually very similar teams. GUARD vs GUARD type teams. both basically run 4 guard type offenses. Game is in Louisville, 100 miles away, so that is worth SOMETHING...call it a point or 2 max. CSU just always seemed to fold on the road when they got down this year watching them. A team that needed huge momentum from home crowd to get them back in the game. Been riding them hard of late. Leaning Murray St here.
I think the public dog is LBSU this week. Horrible matchup for them vs NM, right?
Also think you are supposed to take the free 3.5 with st louis vs memphis. If this game was a month ago, St Louis is favored, right? |

Every game I have seen them lose this year is when their opponent starts playing their game with them hitting shots and Mizzou jacks up bad off balanced jumpshots early in the shot clock. Florida is definitely capable of beating Mizzou if they shoot like they are capable. It is the big teams down low that would kill Florida, they lucked out and got in a bracket with guard heavy teams. |

#47 Posted: 3/15/2012 9:47:35 PM how about vegas trying to scare away osu bettors off with -18. This team can flat out play.
Don't know much about Loyola but they really haven't done anything impressive. In Kentucky earlier this year they lost by 24 and Kentucky dominated with their no-name players (Scored 87 points only 37 between davis / gilchrist / lamb. Out rebounded them 35-28.
Granted this game was at home, I can see OSU having a similar, dominating performance.
Laying the chalk FH and game and a bit on over TT. Watch out for Buford.
