#29 Posted: 4/8/2012 1:48:45 AM Atlanta is the play. I took the Mets on Saturday and I'm locking in for the Braves on Sunday. Niese is simply too hittable. The over is probably a decent bet, too.

Jose love the thread you got going here as I'm finding it really useful since the regular season for MLB is not my strongest suit.
I don't think the Jays will be looking ahead because they know they have a rookie out there today. The Jays showed me a lot today with their will to win after blowing the 9th inning lead. I think they are having a ton of fun and will be very sharp today as even last year they blew a chance at a sweep after starting 2-0. The Indians are battling a bad end to last year and a young team off of 2 tough losses like that might not be good.

I lean the DBacks. I thought the DBacks were gonna stub their toe as I lost on Lincecum to start the year. I think the DBacks wanna show everyone they weren't a fluke. Collmenter struggled midseason last year but learned how to make adjustments and really got it going after that. The DBacks are playing loose and I think they can get it done again tomorrow.
What are people's thoughts on the Red Sox game? |

Hey LL this Jays team is young and hungry, and I honestly don't see them looking ahead. They understand that they have feed off the weak teams and take advantage of games like these. I'm not saying they will surely win, but Derek Lowe isn't exactly a stud, and these young Jays bats show no mercy. This young team is energetic and excited, and I don't see the look ahead angle playing an sort of factor into this game. On the other hand, I would love for the Jays to win and begin this young season with a sweep. Good luck guys.

#40 Posted: 4/8/2012 12:18:46 PM Some good conversation in here today. Just getting a chance to finalize my plays right now. I see some of my favorite posters leaning to the jays, but I am sticking with my Cleveland lean. I don't really love the rest of the card, but the Nats and Fish still look good......... |
