This was a flat-out MISTAKE! Can't dwell on it and need to move on. But your post is absolutely correct! I should not have played Zona today...need to learn from this in the future!
thanks for pointing this out and making me think about this....Appreciate it!
Another reason you are the best. You don't make excuses and even admit to being wrong sometimes (I think you were just tired). A lot of us here, myself included, have learned more from you than we can ever repay. I'm glad I could help, albeit a little late. I'm pretty sure that is what these forums are for. As always, I thank you for the time you put in for us.

#113 Posted: 4/21/2011 7:09:34 PM If anyone watched the game could anyone explain to me why did the Dodgers try to steal 2nd with Ethier in the 3rd inning, when they had runners on the corners with 1 out?? Ethier gets caught and Uribe hits a long fly-ball that would have brought in a run, had it still been 1 out... What was the deal with that? Anyone that pays attention to the Dodgers, are these kind of 'boneheaded' plays a common occurrence with this team? thanks for the insight |

Back at it tomorrow fellas Told you not to go against the "bet on the shoplifting pitcher theory", good job with Dallas you were right on with the value although I was not really wrong on Portand(big fat push for me). Thanks for your hard work and thank you for the Dodgers and White Sox today. |

I'll provide some analysis for this one. Last MLB play for the day.
I know White Sox are on a 7 game losing streak, but I like them to snap it tonight. First of all, these 2 pitchers have faced off against one another already this season. Floyd had his best outing of the season against the Rays, throwing 8 innings and allowing 4 hits, 0 ER's and 8 K's to only 1 BB. Niemann had his worst outing against the Sox, pitching 2.2 innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 HR's, and 3 ER's. He had 1 K and 2 BB's in that one. For a Sox lineup that is 'cold' right now, Niemann could be it's "DayQuil". I also like that Floyd is coming off a poor outing, thus this provides a good 'bounce back' spot for him.
Looking at advanced stats, Floyd has a FIP of 4.11 (#72 in majors) and an xFIP of 3.37 (#32). Compare that to Niemann's FIP of 5.74 and xFIP of 4.22. In addition Floyd has a K/BB ratio of 3.20 compared to Niemann's 2.75. Either way we look at this, Floyd is a better pitcher.
Rays are 2-8 in Niemann's last 10 starts while the Sox are 11-4 in Floyd's last 15 after scoring 2 or less runs. I do expect Sox to rebound in this one and snap their losing streak.
Good luck!
ahhh i missed this play. would you mind creating a new thread for your added plays pleaseeee?? thanks :D
