#6 Posted: 6/28/2012 6:20:21 PM Thanks for the well wishes guys. No play for me today. I am gonna stick to my method that has worked so far. I would have lost twice if I had forced plays so I am very thankful for the opportunity. It has been a fun ride and I hope it has a few miles left. Thanks everybody. |

good thing you are not going for the monthly.... I would take my time also... don't force a play.... I think my problem last month is that I wanted everything... streak and monthly. My fallback was if I don't get the streak.. I would go for the monthly. I did tied for 1st for May but lost to the tie breaker to Stephgame.
since the monthly lead is not the issue... take your time. GL. |

I like to capture the monthly too! still steamed on losing the tie breaker in May.
I think I have a better 2 month streak survivor record than most at this time. Stephgame doing well at 17-11 even with an 8 game losing streak.
on your pick today... I would take the Under on the Dodgers game instead of the Dodgers.. just my opinion. |

since the monthly lead is not the issue... take your time. GL. Losing a tiebreaker had to be brurtal. Just to have a shot is such long odds... I was 9-1 after the first ten days of this month and made a decision to forgo the monthly. It was tempting but not conducive towards a shot at 21 or 25 in my opinion. Obviously you have to get damn lucky but I decided to play the lotto. |

yes.. brutal losing to the tie breaker... I only was in 2nd for one day in May! everything else was 1st place... Stephgame got hot toward the end and I forced him to play the last day but he got the win unfortunately. could have made $2K... streak and monthly.... in my mind.. I didn't lose in May. Stephgame has the $$ though. |

GL Doing that well, I can relate. Even though I have managed to keep the streak going, last week was the worst week I have had in baseball in years. I did follow it up with a great week this week and got it all back and am taking the weekend off. Thanks again to all the well wishes, I am digging into to the games now. Even when I know I won't be making any wagers I still handicap the games and watch some games so that I can stay in form and be ready next week. If something jumps I will make a streak play. |

#14 Posted: 6/30/2012 9:33:36 AM I am just happy I stayed off Justin Verlander last night. I am happy that he was facing Price and there was no way I would back this Tigers team against a tough left hander. |

#20 Posted: 6/30/2012 6:22:13 PM Yea it was a fun a run. At least I got a hat and a hoodie. All these two out runs and everything is going the Indians way. Just like this 10th run here, their line shots can't be played, Baltimores turn into double plays. Best of luck to everyone |

#21 Posted: 7/28/2012 9:06:55 PM Mrjlx just read what you wrote. It was fun going against you for the monthly. You were incredibly tough to beat, tie really. Great move with the Rockies game the last night of the month. Hopefully we can do it again sometime. |
