#2 Posted: 6/28/2012 2:16:55 PM Saints 38-21... In the dome, RG3s first NFL start. He can throw! He'll put up a couple TDs but this is Brees in the dome we're talking about. Saints are going to be trying to prove a point this year and Brees will be whooping some serious behind this year especially at home IMO.
Texans -6.5 is good money. Their D is solid. Miami doesnt have a QB and Schaub can play! Their run game will come thru in the red zone. I see them putting up 28-31 to a Miamis 10-14
I'd lean the Lions. They can also score a crap load of points. Rams cant. Simple. Detroit or a no play
I LOOOOVE Chi Town with B Marshall at home DD against the colts. Colts D is a joke. Bears will be super bowl contenders this year. I think this is the year where we finally see the bears at their full potential.
i dont see why Lions, NO and Chi town and Houston wont cover. i personally will be playing all four |

I was thinking likewise. Tennessee may also surprise my Pats with a potent CJ and healthy Britt.

Thanks.
Dalton should only get better. Rival game...Ravens offense doesn't scare me. No Suggs for this game...Ravens defense a year older. Bengals at the Ravens last year put up 492 yards. The three interceptions hurt. |

#7 Posted: 6/28/2012 6:55:18 PM Know what Trey? If you really like the Texans D, I could suggest taking the UNDER 43.5 (WSEX). I'm convinced by off season moves, articles and blogs that the Fins have a good D of their own but weak on offense.

#8 Posted: 7/5/2012 12:46:13 PM Gotta love the linemakers head games with the Saints -10 with all the offseason issues and drama to come out against a team with its new star player in RG3 and they beat the Giants twice last year....Very interesting.....gotta say the line tells me the Saints are the play here....But I think the oddsmakers are going to undervalue the Skins all season long IMO |

I've seen a lot of love for the Skins week 1. How? I have no idea. I'm praying the public pounds the skins.

#11 Posted: 7/7/2012 12:18:31 AM Last year doesnt mean garbage but just food for thought
Last year week 1 the Bears slaughtered the Falcons at home. Won by 18. Matt Ryan > Andrew Luck right? plus the addition of B Marshall. Gotta love the Bears week 1
Last year week 1 Houston beat the dog garbage out of the Colts by 24 when the line was 9 . I love houston to wipe out the Dolphins at home. 6.5 seems like a complete gift.
At the end of the day you gotta figure if the colts go on the road week1 to get wiped out by the Texans, the same could happen with the bears. And if the bears come out with the same intensity as they did this season like they did last season the colts are in for a very long day. |

#12 Posted: 7/7/2012 3:56:21 AM id say tennessee has the best chance out of any of the teams... they are at home and will have all august to prepare for new england... plus they have the defense to play with new england and their offense isnt that bad good oline, good running back and some threats out wide, plus a big target in jarred cook... i like tennessee this year |

#25 Posted: 7/30/2012 7:18:01 PM That GB/SFO line surprised me. Once again, the anti-West Coast bias is going to lose some East Coasters some money. 49ers D should disrupt a finesse offense that'll be trying to find it's rhythm. I admit they're a great finesse offense, but things don't always go as planned in Week 1. I like the 49ers to cover, I dunno about winning outright.
Disclosure Statement: As a fan, I really hate the 49ers. |
