#1 Posted: 1/19/2013 5:42:54 PM Bookies cash on on SF not covering. Then everyone chases, they bet the
Ravens where the line is dropping. (reverse line movement, its so
obvious) and New England blows em out winning by 17+. Bookies/Vegas clean up. Same ole story every year. Books always beat you. Then at about 11 pm tomorrow night
we get the Superbowl line which will be NE -7.5 Atl. Total 55. |

Over the whole NFL season I would say they did not lose money. They had a few rough weeks, but their big futures are mostly all killed already. SF is probably their biggest exposure for SB future bets. |

You don't really know how books make money, do you.

#16 Posted: 1/20/2013 7:58:38 AM Your right about the bookies making the cash. But wrong in your reasoning..
This line -4 was a line based on public perception ,same as the Redskins line (they lost) same as the Bronco line (they lost) same as NE line last week (no cover IFTHe line was based on play it would be ATL-1 opening line
ATL is alot better than a Packer team that limped into playoffs and then were no match for SF at home ,.ATL let Wilson (a better QB get somruns but they didnt break like GB and let the QB run for almost 200yrds with 2 TDs himself. Forget ATL let up20 points in 2nd half .Look at 1st half which if they would play like that the whole game they would beat anyone. Look at how they responded twice to adversity whith Sea.coming out guns blazing in 2nd half putting up7 ,only to watch RYAN and company march right back and match the 7.Then after the perfect storm, and watching Sea.score 20 unanswered they dont crumble ,they March down the field in 30 sec and win the game.Just like the Giants game where they were giving no respect, they will win today31-24

#17 Posted: 1/20/2013 8:24:38 AM Any money the books lost they made up last week on all those futurs they had going with the Packers and the Broncos ,Also dont forget how everyone also liked NotreDame+10 and on and on.
Books have bad weeks not bad seasons ,The ony books that lose are just the wwannabees who decide to book there 5 friends action. If they would get 10 friends even they couldnt lose for the season |
